 The corridor narrows as you make your way into the dungeons. Soon you find yourself standing in front of a blank stone wall. "Legilimens," you say before a large stone moves forward and then to the side to open up a doorway to the Slytherin Common room. It is rather open and empty, but among the cold stone surroundings there is a green couch just below a set of two steps, a coffee table in front of it. A fireplace is set off to the left and surrounded by hard wooden chairs, cushioned with green corduroy. Portraits line the walls of famous Slytherin witches and wizards come to power, with short anecdotes below each portrait. The room is dark and dim, and study tables off in the corner are accompanied by magically lit lamps.

Jaden walks in the common room for the first time. She looks up, around and gives a smirk. Everything just the same as the other five years, yet, always different. She loves the first years, and was excited to meet them. But not in the way all other students greet first-timers.
She sighs and goes over to the couch and lounges a bit. She waits for other students to enter.

Belle storms into the common room and drops a small travel bag on the nearest table ungracefully. Growling she says aloud "Where are those damn house elves when you need them,..... I swear things get more and more lax around here each year". She is obviously quite irritated that she had to carry her own small bag all the way down to the common room by herself. As a noble, she has never really had to lift a finger for anything.

Jaden quickly sits up, at the loud sound. She laughs, "Tell me about it. Last year year, I had to carry my books almost half the year. It was exhausting! How is anyone supposed to learn anything when they have to focus all there energy on carring things instead of studying?!" She silences and looks at Belle and smiles, "It's good to see you again Belle."

"It's good to be seen" she said, lifting her head up slightly. She liked Jaden, but that wasn't going to change her arrogant, snobby attitude.

She nods her head. Pauses and sees that Belle is no good mood for a long conversation.. She says something anyways, "So how was your Summer?.. Or should I bother to ask?" She raised an eyebrow, and crossed her legs.

Belle gracefully sets down in a chair across from Jaden and crosses her legs as she leans back into the cushioned chair. "Oh you know, the same as always" she says breezily. "After shopping nearly everyday, and acquiring a whole new wardrobe once again, I had my servants get rid of all those cloths that i've worn before. I wouldn't have been caught dead in something from last season." She said snobbily, delicatley eating a truffle from the box on the table next to her. "and you?" she asked casually.

Jaden's eyes widen when she saw the truffle. She reaches over to the box, "May I?" She smiles, and put's one in her mouth. "Well.." She started, and finished her snack, "My father and I went on vacation. We went to Brazil, Japan, Iceland, Chile, The Americas, Austrailia, and Rome." She smiled big. "Oh, it's was loads of fun. You wouldn't believe what I brought back! So much, we ended up having to have our private plane stop for gas, TWICE, because it weighed it down so much!" She nodded and smiled.
She grabbed another truffle.

Belle nodded slightly at Jaden when she inquired about the truffles, and nibbled delicately on a third one as she listened to Jaden talk.
"Sounds like you enjoyed yourself" she said neutraly "I'm not a big fan of traveling, I just hate having to pick only half of my wardrobe to go with me,... not to mention it takes time away from shopping....... I'd much rather just have my father and mother bring me home The things i want, then have to travel all over the world, myself, to get them."

Lily walks into the room and sees two of her class mates sitting and talking. "Hello you two, how are you? I'm just absolutly mad. When I was working this summer my employer's checks bounced every single time, all the employs smoked around me, plus the stupid stallions got on my nerves everyday. But enough about me, how about you?" Once she finished talking she put her stuff down in a corner and found an empty chair by her housemates to talk to them.

Jaden smiled when Lily walked in. She rubs her hands off, "Oh nothing special. Just telling Belle here about my vacation with my father, and her shopping spree." Her eyes wonder off, and then back again, "Oh, and how lazy the house elves have become.." She nods and smiles.

Entering the room behind the brick wall, Icarus stopped at the sight of the three girls and raised an eyebrow. He made his way to a couch that none of the girls sat on, flopped down in the couch, raised a leg to rest on the cushions and stretched his arms out over the top of the couch. He acted most uninterested in what the girls had to to say, laid his head back, and closed his eyes.

Will stumbles into the common room, wearing dark sunglasses and rocking dark blue hair. he looks around and movs to that old chair of his in the dark corner. because of the glasses this time around you cant even see the whites of his eyes

Jaden sits on the couch with her legs uncrossed now, waiting for someone to say something. She sees Icarus, and slightly smiles. And then, she thought of a guy she knew from fifth year. She liked him, a lot, and wondered if he was returning this year. And then suddenly, she sees at the corner of her eye, the guy. Will came back, and her stomach dropped and she had the biggest smile, on the inside. She didn't want it to obvious, or make herself seem desperate.
She went to the other side of the couch, and put both her legs up. She grabbed another truffle and looked at Will, "Hello William. Good of you to show up." She takes a bite.
