I'm curious. What seems to be the general consensus on the existence of vampires here? And, may I mind you, I don't mean the undead, hate's garlic, burns up in sunlight, is harmed by consecrated items or silver, or sleeps in coffins. So pretty much nothing of the mythos surrounding them. I also don't mean the serial murders that claim to be vampires, or anyone who dresses up for the fashion.

I think xX_Moony_Xx is a vampire. She has super-pointy canines, and is of German decent. ninja
Just kidding.... (though she is a little German lass with pointy teeth...)
Anyways, though I do not believe in the typical horror movie vampires, I do believe that there are 'psychic vampires', and I know that there are individuals who partake in erotic vampirism, drinking the blood of thier lovers. However, in the age of AIDS, drinking the blood of another generally isn't an intelligent idea...
As for psychic vampires, they are, to my knowledge, spirits which will leech the energy from mediums. They don't kill you, nor turn you into anything, they just make you become temporarialy fatigued.

Oh, their not necessarily spirit's. Some do have human form.*refers to self* Interestingly enough though, I have noticed that a decent percentage of the HLV(Human Living Vampire being the proper term) tend to descend from the germanic area of Europe. As for blood drinking, generally, that's why most of our kind, that at least fall under the categore of Sanguinous, and to a slightly lesser extent Hybrid, requiring blood to replenish their energy(I being the latter, a Sanguine/Psychic Hybrid), thoroughly test the blood of their donors. And in any guide, it generally is against mouth to wound contact, for sanitary reasons, and if you do, rinse your mouth out thoroughly, and not to brush your teeth. The reason being, when you brush your teeth, your gums bleed slighly, which will let the HIV virus in. So long as it can't enter a sore or irritation, it'll be destroyed in our(humans in general) stomachs.

well i know for sertain that demons egsist because i have felt them and if they egsist then vampires must as well (( sorry i cant spell verry well))
