Have you talked with the orchestra director at your school? If you have one he/she would probably willing to help you set up and pick out music selections even if he's not directly involved. My director won't let me be in the chamber ensemble at my school because he's worried I'm just a "hot shot" that will burn out early. He just has so much confidence in me! stare

Heh. My orchestra directors never helped. They didn't even know I had a quartet, despite the fact that we told them five times. We had to hide out in the theater lobby. rolleyes
Anyway, this site: www.monalisasound.com has some really good chamber arrangements of popular music by such artists as Led Zepplin and The Beatles. We actually played Eleanor Rigby at my school, and I can attest that it's a great piece, though only if you can play high notes. And it kinda stinks with full orchestra. (On the plus side, I got it for free by stealing/copying) Um... for classical stuff I suggest CD Sheet Music, the company. They cell CD roms with a lot of very challenging music on them.
For easy fun stuff I would suggest www.ichigos.com ... they have video game scores (and anime, if you like either genre) some of which are for string quartet or other chamber groups.

Try to get a copy of the Telemann Sinfonia Paraphrase from Trio in A minor. I don't know where, I personnally got it from my teacher but if you do find it, I suggest you buy it. I know it says trio but It's actually for four violins. But you could arrange it for viola and bass since the fourth violin part, the one I played, is really low-pitched.

WE PLAYED THAT IN OUR ORCHESTRA!! Whata coincidence? Anyway, have you heard of the composer Jordanyi? Try a piece by him called Scherzo
