Don't have guitar hero II yet unfortunately. Trying to find a place that has the guitar and game together and no where around here has. Really wish I had it so I could actually do hammer ons and pull offs.

No it's not. GHII's HO's and PO's make the solos MUCH easier.
BTW I still cant beat SoD's solo without starpower!

While it is true that the HO and PO system in GH2 makes solos much much easier, the developers seemed to balance it out a little more by throwing a crapload of more notes at ya xD
But yeah.. I remember after I got really good at GH2 and then my cd got scratched.. so I couldnt play it anymore.. I went back to GH1 and got my a** beat by some of the solos in there lmao... I was so used to the HO and PO system in GH2... I was spoiled by it xD
I worked my way back up though.. I forced myself to lmao.. =p Deleted my save file for GH1 and made myself 5star everything all over again.
Just gotta get that motivation 3nodding

Yeah, SoD is easy now. And in Guitar Hero 1, I gave up on trying to learn the HO and PO. So now me and my friend strum every note. XD Case you're wondering, his videos are on Youtube. His name is Poitoy9090 or something like that.
