*1st Lt. Charlie Kahler checked his RGM-79D GM Cold Climate Type's radar; no targets in range; his team wasn't getting any readings either.* "Well, I doubt there's anyone else out here. Let's do one more sweep and then head back to base." *Just then, a Zeon Hy-Gogg Mobile Suit burst through the water's surface.* "Heads up, we've got company!"

*At word of an enemy ambush, Capt. Lambda quickly readied his MS team.*
Scout's are under ambush! Let's mobilize quickly!
*He quickly arrived at the MS hangar and got into his GM Cold Climate Type, equipped with a Captain insignia on the shield.*

*The Hy-Gogg fired its arm missiles at Charlie's ms; He kicked in the thrusters and evaded the attack, responding by pouring bullets at the Zeon MS.* "He's quick, be careful!" Charlie yelled over his com.

*A lance of 4 mobile suits, lead by the Captain GM rushed to the scout's aid. One was trailing back, a Guntank MP, that was providing long-range support fire, the others were staying close to the captain*

"Thanks for the assist," Charlie greeted Lambda and his squad. "Not that we really needed it, he joked." His team also circled the Hy-gogg, pouring machine gun fire on it's hull. Seonds later, the MS burst into flames. "Nice work... hold on... Movement coming from six o'clock!" This time, the attacker was a team of 2 Hy-goggs, already launching missiles at the GMs.

"Guess we'll hafta try circling them again!" The teams formed aroung the Hy-Goggs and fired. This time, the Hy-Goggs lashed at the GMs with their claws, sending some sprawling away and damaging Charlie's MS's arm.

*The dodged a barrage of gunfire from one of the Hy-goggs and fired back*

Charlie and Lambda led their troops in retreat back to the HQ. They fired back at the Zeon MSs as they went, managing to shoot the arm off of one. "Crap, that was close, but they might call for reinforcements. We'll have to set up a heavy defense around the base."

I don't know for certain. Not to mention our outpost isn't of any strategic value, except for the research station.

For now the Guntanks will hold the Hygoggs off. Unless they come at us with something else...
