As you walk along a deserted path, feeling the sand underneath you, you step on something, and it gives a violent groan. You quickly step off of it and brush away the sand, revealing an old wooden door. You try to open the door, learning that the latches are still tight after who knows how long. You look around the area, finding and old hammer and hit the hinges, breaking them. Even though it wouldn't budge before the hinges were still brittle from years of erosion.
You pull back the door and a staircase lies before you, leading to the door or an abandoned building, which reminds you of the ancient buildings seen in those information files you read. A two story family home. You look around in the cave area that has been built around it by nature, preserving this artifact. You walk further inside and ascend the staircase, bringing you to the second floor's even darker hallways. But your lantern lights the area around you, allowing you too see. You look in every of the several rooms there, but for the one locked. You wriggle the doorknob to try to open it, but that doesn’t work. So you take the hammer you found and slam it down on the doorknob. It doesn't budge. Frustrated, you hit the knob harder, completely cleaving it and all its hardware out. You stick your fingers in the hole where the knob used to be in the door and gently pull it open, the stale air coming out. You step away from the entrance for a few minutes letting the air circulate out. Soon you walk back in, the air no longer smelling stale. This room isn't bare like the rest; you find a bookcase of ancient books in English and turns toward a table in the center of the room. You walk towards it and see a well-preserved book lying on it. The gold inscribed letters in the front looking like 変な きつね 書物 , some ancient language or strange symbols. Curious, you open the book finding pictures of fox-like creatures and words in English.
