yeah so stupid old Tokyo misread the announcement. I thought it said the gaia ball STARTED on June 11th not ended on it. I don't care about the event but where there any event ITEMS. I know one of you poll whores will know

^___^ This is an event that was started in 2003 by the users, and is a tradition that's carried on... and hosted by users.
It used to occur around the same time as the Gaia anniv ball and it would get people really confused. The one time there was items given out for it was during the first one in 2003. The admins wanted to reward the users for the great job they'd done in putting it together, so each attendee either got a red rose corsage (female) or a black bowtie (male). It was all a surprise~
Anyway, this was an event put on by regular users, and not the admins. It's supposed to be about the community and not about items. xD Although they did raise a lot of gold to be able to give out random presents during the ball.
That's all I know. I didn't attend it this year.
I checked it out, but most of the threads looked like they were more full of spam than the CB. o.o Er, well~~ it looked like any other event forum. XD
Anyway, yeah... there weren't any special event items for the Gaia user ball.

oh ok thank you cabbi. Yeah I saw the topics the other day and it looked like all spam and giveaways and stuff. I'm glad there is no items in this event so I don't have to buy them in the market place later on.
