Out of all the different weapons that are out there in the wild world of Oblivion...what is your favorite class of weapon and why?
My favorite class of weapon is probably a bow. I have your normal run of the mill Daidric Bow. But the catch is that I have my marksman skill maxed out and I have arrows that can paralyze my victums. So, for me, that means to matter how strong my prey is, no matter how far they can run, even if they are a Imperial nobleman...they won't make it far if I get even one hit in on them.

Believe it or not, Hand to Hand has always been my personal favourite. The power to do eleven damage per hit with only my fists is just very appealing to me. Plus, it damages fatigue without any need for enchantments. True, you can't poison a fist, nor can you enchant gaunlets with on-strike damage.
In absence of that option, I like blunt. Warhammers FTW. Highest base damage of any weapon type in the game overall. Nice and agonising for the enemy.

Lord Dixanadu Believe it or not, Hand to Hand has always been my personal favourite. The power to do eleven damage per hit with only my fists is just very appealing to me. Plus, it damages fatigue without any need for enchantments. True, you can't poison a fist, nor can you enchant gaunlets with on-strike damage.

twisted That's what my orc uses. He has a huge bounty too xd The reason for that is that I just go around and kill guards and people like that. It yeilds good amounts of gold and I get to kill those pricks for all the hell they caused my main charactor when he was a low level.

I have to say the Bow, You can be much more strategical than you can with a sword/blunt weapon, and can easily kill enemies before they know what's even happening!

Bow + enchanted arrows because you don't have to be up close.

i like blades because i prefer to slice through my opponents rather then smashing there skulls or shooting an arrow into them. (no offense to anyone. thats just my opinion)

I exclusively use swords. I have a stock pile of enchanted short swords in my inventory. They are relatively light, and when one of my enchantments runs out I just move onto the next.
There's just something a little more satisfying about being up close and personal to a kill, rather than sniping them from relative safety.

I always use blades,and I never get hit when I am attacking because I weave in and out when the attacker is about to strike.Though i sometimes use bows,both skills are 100 so i use bows at times and blades at times.

Most of the time I can get a few damaging hits in before they even realize what is happening.

I made a character that would have a relatively large amount of health, and so it never really worries me. But if you focus on other things like sneak, security, etc. you don't really have the stats to increase your health often, so a bow/ magic would be your logical choice.

i like both blade and bow but i used to think blade then i used abow and got addicted to it.when i use a blade it is almost always Goldbrand, the sword you get from Boethia. when i use a bow it is daedric bow of inferno or frost. i do sometimes use a costom bow of inferno that does 40 points of damage for one second.

Definitly swords. I pretty much only use swords. Especially Longswords and Claymores. I prefer getting close and taking the damage than running away and shooting arrows or spells or whatever. Knowing that you can die at any moment is a big thrill, plus, just figiting is awesome. I love swrods, no other weapon is better...
