So I bought the Invader Zim DVD box set and was watching it (I love it ^_^) and in episode 1, Zim asks if an entire fleet of alien armada were to attack earth, how much would earth's defences be.
Sooo, it got me wondering. If such an attack were to happen, just HOW prepared are earth's defences? Are we boned? Can we handle it?
DISCUSS MY CHILDREN!

Depends on which fictional alien it was.
If it was one with some glaring weakness, like those in Independence Day, then we could win.
If it was something like the Zerg, the Ing, Space Pirates, Xenomorphs, the Covenant or so on, we'd be completely screwed.

I'm pretty sure anything with the technology to travel huuuuuuge distances through space could kill us without much effort.
Though... alien invaders would be a nice way for us to get rid of all of our nukes and be peaceful with each other again. :3

Ah, Invader Zim. One of my absoloute favorite shows. ^_^ Gir is easily my favorite character btw.
Anyway, as for your topic......Yeah we'd be boned. xp
