Well... let's see.. First off go to www.gamefaqs.com and www.gamewinners.com there is plenty of useful info there for various things on the game. As for the glitch that involves taking out the disc and shutting the cover again it's very useful to avoid a side mission or two for the flightstones. I don't know if this will help anyone but it did help me alot so far.
