A friend of mine's school did it last year. I went twice. It's a good musical, you'll probably like it. smile I can't really give advice, though. Just that I really liked it!

my college did it two years ago. could have been the director, but i HATED this show. i think it has a very weak storyline and the songs are...eh. i guess it could be a great show if done right, but our director turned it into this cheesy, horrible experience to sit through.
for an audition song, something upbeat. the music is very calipso and Caribbean in style.

My school did it two years before my freshman year...I got to see it...I know that version sucked because of the director, but it has great potential. I don't really have any advice either, but you should enjoy doing the show if you have a decent director. :]

I BEGGED to do this for our show this season, but all my ideas got turned down and we are doing something that NO ONE wants to do instead.
I love the music in it. The storyline is a little... ehh... but the music is great in my book.

The music and story has grown on me since I found out.
Personally, I hate the lead characters. I think Daniel and Ti Moun are weak. I'm auditions to be Erzulie because I think her character has more depth. I dunno, that's just me I guess.
Anyone know anything about 'The Anatomy of Gray?'

The Gods are FAR better characters then Ti Moune and Daniel. The only good thing about Ti Moune is her first song. I love "Waiting for Life."
