I guess it is really. I never used to use it until I played this internet game where you were in a jungle with a load of natives jumping out on you and you had to shoot them. If you got caught they would give you a good buggering. Whenever that happened to you, your character would say bugger me. After playing that my use of the phrase increased.
Anyway, that's my life story I hope you enjoyed it.
