~*~Hidden Agendas~*~
Slightly over one hundred years ago, an unknown imbalance occured, destroying six of the seven continents but one. The remaining continent, comprising of only eastern asia, was the only liveable land in the world. All survivors, however few (seeing as only 10% of life survived), were transported there to begin anew. New cities and organizations were built, even with the loss of all major technology. The largest and most influental organization being ERUJA.
After the fall of the world and the imbalances, there were changes in the land and in the people. ERUJA was built to control and utilize the changes that were created in the people, presenting them with abilities that were only dreamed of in stories. The rules were constantly changing and people were born with abilities anywhere from telepathy, to being anthropromorhic. Elements were often considered a part of the changes. To this date, only seven elements have been identified fire, metal, water, wind, wood, light and shadow.
Two other organizations were created after the fall of the world. Renegade X, a mercenary force that was created in the belief that ERUJA was only trying to gain power and that it misused the people with abilities who came to be known as the 'blessed.' Comprised of people from the dececript cities and ruins, the renegades are constantly going against ERUJA and taking in and protecting people that have been neglected.
The last remaining faction, TENJEI, remains the most mysterious by far. They are a faction that believes that with the help of a certain type of 'blessed', they will have the ability to gain access to a place known as 'paradise'. Rumors have occured, saying that the only reason ERUJA fights against TENJEI is to gain access to 'Paradise', in the belief that within lies a powerful weapon.
With this information, it must be understood that the truth is no longer a matter of fact and that lies and deceit are the only whims to power. With everything and with every person there lies a hidden agenda.
