Ok, so here we go.
Today started out fine. Everything was going to plan.
I hit the on button to my computer, and went to get some food from the kitchen.
When I came back, my computer was on, but my MSN and Yahoo hadn't popped up.
Thinking nothing of it, I went to the corner of the screen, where, like all Win98se comps, it displayed the Icons of the designated programs.
MSN and Yahoo where not there.
But some odd program, Stating my computer was infected, was. I also, panicing at this, noticed BlackIce, the Uber firewall, was down.
I pulled the Internet cord out.
Remebering how last night, the router had activated it's final defence, crashing it's self to prevent hacking, I Checked it. It was back up and running.
Back to the computer. I clicked on My Computer.
The computer instantly froze.
I restarted it, and tried again.
Once again, frozen.
At this point, I turned off the fan, which was getting annoying, and restarted again.
And Noticed the absence of the Hard Drive whirring.
I swore loudly at this point, knowing this was not very good.
My $1000 Computer had, suddenly, become a $1000 paper weight.
I decided to wait, and try again. Same results.
I stopped mucking with it, waiting for my father, the one who could fix this, to return.
So here I sit, at the Libary, waiting til Five.
So, until further notice, I'm going to not be on as much.

gonk Oh dear...
Lets hope you can get the files saved before you have to do anything like re-formatting the disk... confused Although, that's probably a good idea, if you get it working again. Stupid viruses. I think we have about three firewall/anti-virus things on this one. So far, nothing's gotten through. razz (No, not three firewalls! gonk )

I have no Virus scanner, but BlackIce has three fire walls built in.
Each one has its own little thing.
Layer one, if you get through, Gives a warning.
Layer two, tags and tracks them.
Layer three notifies the Authorities.
It's good. 3nodding
