 Anubis, having awoke from his dark slumber, looked disoriented. Apparently, he had woken up, and wandered off to someplace he didnt know. "Eh?" He ask, looking around, quite confused. Plopping himself down, he remembered the old saying somewhat along the lines of, stay where you are so you wont get lost even more. Could one get lost 'even more' when they were already lost? Well, it wasnt is place to judge, and Anubis shrugged off the matter. Now it was to wonder, if this place was isolated or not?

Auriga took a deep breath and closed her eyes. He chest heaved as she caught her breath. The need to run had overtaken her, and she ran until her lungs aches, but she felty exhilirated. She opened her eyes again and looked around. This place was new, and so needed exploring. Auriga smiled to herself and set off at a slow pace, glad her frequent running meant the burning in her lungs had already ebbed.

Anubis tilted his heads towards an incoming visitor. "Hm?" As it came closer, he recognized it to be one like himself, a soquili, but very strange. It looked as if night was compiled into her in the broad daylight. With an amused smile, he asked to no one in particular -- "I suppose this contradicts the saying, night and day can never exist together." He pondered whether, to make his existence known or not, but decided it was too much trouble. After all, the mare seemed to be exploring. It would find him eventually, at a point or another. For now, he was content with waiting behind her back.

Auriga sniffed at the ground and her ears lifted. She definately smelt another Soquili, and it was still a strong scent. She lifted her head, ears still pricked up, and looked around. She made a silly face as she noticed a blue Soquili, who stuck out quite a fair bit.
Oy, my eyesight must be awful... She chuckled to herself. She smiled widely and nodded at the stallion before calling over.
"Sorry for being so ignorant! I, somehow, didn't notice you there!"

"It's nothing." Anubis said mildly, staring at the soquili in bemusement, before walking over. If she had know that it wasnt her fault, but entirely his fault from choosing to wait behind the sidelines, before introducing himself, she wouldnt or more accurately, shouldnt have been the one apologizing.
As soon as he reached within speaking distance with the mare, His green eyes seemed to observe her with male frank appreciation. Anubis, angled his head, and simply asked "Why are you here?" His gaze left her to follow their surroundings. It was a clear meadow, albeit with a pond, but this scenery could've been found anywhere. He gave her a quizzical smile as to why this certain place?

Auriga chuckled softly and flicked her forelock behind her ear, or attempted to. The long lock of silver quickly fell back in front of her eyes. "I ran... and ran until I stopped here. It wasn't a planned visit..." She smiled and cocked her head. "What about you, blue stallion? What brings you to this meadow?"

"You run?" Anubis asked, surprised. "Well, it's nice to see a female who does that, no wait. actually, its endearing. Many females enjoy to keep their hooves clean and try to get out of physical exercise. Glad to see an exception to that." Anubis said with a lazy grin.
"But what brings me here? What if it was a premonition that you were going to be here?" Anubis drawled, suddenly at the mare's side. Anubis, tucked the mare's forelock behind her ear with his muzzle, and stepped back. "Or it could've just been a case of stupidity, where one wakes from a sleep and wanders off." He chuckled to himself.
"But while we're here. Lets make some introduction. Instead of calling myself Blue Stallion, My name's Anubis which I would prefer better. What about you?" He winked at her rougueishly.

Auriga couldn't help but laugh. "Hell, I don't care about all that stuff! I'll run through mud and rain with a smile on my face!"
Auriga's ear tingled as the stallion's soft muzzle brushed against it, and she tried to hide it. She wasn't sure if she was successful or not.
"My name is Auriga... it's a pleasure to meet you, Anubis. And there's nothing wrong with being blue...!" She laughed light heartedly and grinned at him. She seemed very playful, maybe even more so than she was!

"Lovely. You will make sure to take a clean bath soon after, Isnt that right?" His eyes seemed to twinkle with amusement at the mare's reply.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Auriga then." he gave a light bow, before returning her smile. "But yes. I agree with you. If anything was wrong with blue, then we'd both be thrown out onto the streets, wouldnt we?" He asked in mock terror. Auriga was a lovely mare, even more so when seemed to have a sense of humour, Anubis thought wryly.

Auriga laughed. "Indeed, and we certainly couldn't have that! Although it would be an interesting sea of blue Soquili! And we are of course, the best!" Auriga turned her nose up in mock importance, still grinning widely. Her forelock tumbled back in front of her face and she face-faulted.
"Anyway, what was that you were saying about a premonition?" Auriga's ears pricked up as she raised an eyebrow in interest.

"Will we, blue soquilis rule the world?" Anubis laughed. But he grinned maddeningly at Auriga's forelock. "It appears that it doesnt want to stay down, but at least know, you look better with it down than up." Anubis said lightly.
Anubis grinned at the change of subject, and Auriga's interest in it, before replying "Premonition? Was I saying anything about it?" Anubis said, jokingly. "Ah right, I did say I had a premonition that you were going to be here." He trotted around her. "Wouldnt it be nice if you knew whether I was saying it for truth or not? One should never reveal all their secrets entirely, you know."

Auriga chuckled softly. "We shall indeed! And thank you..." Her nares flushed slightly and she pawed the ground sheepishly.
Auriga looked back at Anubis and looked shocked, mockingly. "Why, you tease! Imagine telling a lady only half a story! People have been nibble for far less, you know!"

Anbuis, noting Auriga's odd movements, smiled to himself, decidingly keeping his mouth shut on that topic, as not to discomfort Auriga more.
"But telling half a story means we'll meet again to finish the other half. Isnt it? Anubis asked slyly. "and for a nibble, I can say there are other reasons for nibbling, isnt there?" He whispered to her apparently in close proximity again, as he picked up a lock of her hair with his teeth and gently tugged on it before letting go.

Auriga shivered as Anubis tugged on her hair. Damn, he was cocky, but she didn't mind. In fact, she rather enjoyed it. "What's wrong with telling the rest of the story now? It'll keep me hanging around, will it not...?" She looked at him, he was still right next to her. She wasn't at all uncomfortable with it, just... curios. Very, very curious.
"And yes... I can think of many other reasons for nibbling, too..."

"That's all right. I'll enjoy keeping you in suspense, after all, no one likes a story to end so soon." He said softly, behind Auriga now, his breath tickling her ear. She hadnt protested to his presence, so all he knew was that she didnt hate it as of yet.
Anubis's thoughts was drifting at her words, but he jerked away. What was he doing? There was too much happening to a person he had just met. Shaking his head, he couldnt figure out why he had become so out of character. Partially confused and a bit ashamed of himself, he backed away from Auriga.
(Wow! They have so much chemistry! 8D;; I noticed Aurigas in the personals. Do you think Anubis can try to be a candidate for her? ;O; heart )
