I just bought a chyaku scarf for 70k in the exchange then the guy that sold it too me sends me this WOAHBUMP3 that item is botted now you will get banned It freaked me out for a minute but now whatever happens happens I wonder is it's true though

Don't do anything with it if you haven't already. You don't know if this person is yanking your chain or the item is really botted.
I suggest taking a screen shot of that PM, save the image to photobucket or whatever image hosting service, and send it through a PM to an online mod explaing it. That's the best thing to do just in case.

If he sells it and the item turns out that it was gotten by means of botted gold, he could very well be banned for it. Even if he was an innocent person in it, the mind-set of the mods is to ban anyone that appears to be gaining from botted gold. It's reasonable considering one doesn't know if it's a mule account or not, unless they go by IP numbers [ sometimes even that doesn't work ].
How's it going with this issue?
