Anybody who is a famous guitar player got there for one reason, they're good. But I just don't like Wylde.

I sort of agree with kasacoon. I mean when I heard him and Ozzy do Crazy Train live at the VH1 Rock Honors, his guitar's tone was a bit too dirty for the song, and he didn't really need to make half of the notes in the hook pinch harmonics. But to me at least, it still sounded great. I think Zakk Wylde is a great guitarist, but I would still choose Randy over him as far as listening goes. But still, he's Zakk Wylde. Nobody can deny him the power of the bullseye.

Randy Rhoads had a style that Zach Wilde isn't trying to impersonate or emulate. I'm respectful of that. He's found his own style of playing, and that's something a lot of guitarists never get.

AZiaN Rocker not as overrated as hendrix of course I do think Hendrix was over-rated as "one of the guitar players". He wasn't as technically great as many of the players we have today. However! He wrote some of the greatest songs and really brought something great to music. He will never be forgotten that's for sure.

Ya see, theres a difference between Studio and Live playing. if they can do kick-a** songs in the Studio, it will be better live. I was watching the VH1 Rock Honors, and it was nuts, he has some crazy pinch harmonics.
