After much wandering, Kai had managed to wander onto a suitable place for the night. He was too busy to notice his surroundings last night.. But when he has awoken .. He found a need for some water.
Kai took a sip from the ice-cold stream nearby. That helped him to wake up fairly quickly from the sleepy daze that had surrounded him earlier in the morning. Now he had a chance to -actually- see his surroundings. It wasn't a bad place. "But..." His voice trailed off, as he could find himself only staring.
It was.. How did he put it? It was, a liiiittle too happy for him. As far as he could see, there were flowers everywhere and even .. a rainbow in the distance? "Is that possible? For such a sunny place?" He said, a little surprised. He could hear the sounds of little animals running forth here and there. "Is this what they call paradise?" As he raised an eyebrow. No doubt, that some breed of soquili resided here. "I just have no idea what." He muttered under his breath.
But out of the corner of his eye, He noticed a little pink butterfly moving from flower to flower. A bit amused, he watched the butterfly until another one landed on his head. "Hell.. Where did that com-" As he was cut off. He wasn't used to having butterflies on his head as things on his head tended to annoy him. He tried to shake his head about to try get the butterfly off.
But all he succeeded in was making, his mane a mess.. while the butterfly wasn't the least bit fazed.
[ Hope you don't mind if Kai flirts? ;D;; ]

[I don't mind at all. Don't know about her though. x3]
Finally getting the chance to escape from her herdmates, Ayanna found her way to a meadow that wasn't too far from where she resided. She very much enjoyed coming here, mostly for the fact that it was peaceful... well, besides the chirping of the birds, babbling of the stream and the night songs of the crickets.
Her ears flickered lightly at the sound of some birds chirping over head as they flew by. Walking further through the grass, she made careful steps. Just because she was small, doesn't mean that she still couldn't hurt animals that were smaller than her.
A fluttering motion caught her attention, quickly turning to head to see what it was. A butterfly had caused her to smile, soft golden eyes watching the insect pass by. Her own wings fluttered in return, head still following its path. Doing so, she noticed the other tossing his head about. She gave the stallion a questioning look as she watched him throw his head in fits.
It was awhile, but when he stopped, she spotted a butterfly on his head. She couldn't help but giggle at the spectacle. "All that... for a butterfly?"

"Apparently so." he muttered before he realized that he had company. His ears perked forward at the sound of another. This place seemed to be so empty.. It was interesting to know that another was here. Although he didn't mind if he was alone either.
Surprised, He turned towards the direction of where he had heard the voice. But he was careful not to let his emotions show on his face. There was no harm if he did.. But he was so accustomed to not doing so. "
I didn't realize anyone was here..?" His voice light. He didn't sense her coming.. How odd. He must have been too pre-occupied with the Butterfly. But mentioning of the butterfly... He glared at the butterfly on his head.. or tried to. But as he remembered his manners.. He hastily brought his attention back to the mare, "What brings you here?" He said, pleasantly. But than he could also understand why. From the looks of it, This mare was one of the rumored 'flutter' breed. This place -would- seem perfect for one. It was what one would expect of a surroundings of a butterfly and other.. er. Frolicking animals. And Flutter soquilis were part-butterfly after all. But maybe he was stereotyping. Ohwell.. It couldn't possibly hurt, if he didn't voice it.
"But I should have expected it.. This place is too beautiful not to attract other soquilis." As he observed his surroundings once more. Amusement rang in his voice.

Noticing she was spotted, she slowly stopped giggling and bowed her head to the stallion. "I'm sorry, that was rude of me." Her soft voice told him, a hint of amusement still present.
She slowly walked closer to him, eyeing him softly, the black standing out so much from his white fur, especially the swirls on his back. At his question, her golden eyes glanced to his green ones. "Me? My teepee's not too far from here, so it's not much of a travel for me." She explained, tossing her head in the direction she came in when she mentioned her teepee. "What about yourself?"
After awhile, she got close enough and stopped. Once again, she couldn't help but giggle at the sight of the butterfly on his head. With a shake of her head, she leaned in and blew on it, watching it as it stayed in place for a moment longer before fluttering away. She smiled and at his last statement, nodded. "Yes, it is quite beautiful. I come here whenever I get the chance."

"Not rude at all. It's probably my fault for not noticing such beautiful company earlier." He said flirtaciously. Not that he had serious intentions of course.
But.. He couldn't help but notice her mesmerizing golden eyes. Chuckling slightly at the thought, "Your eyes are so much like gold.. I feel sorry for any green lad caught in them." His voice, cheerful. Unfortunately, he didn't take into consideration the disposition of the mare.. Usually his compliments only meant to flatter, not to insult. However, sometimes.. he received an unexpected reaction.
Unconcerned by his brazen comment, "I have no human, therefore no teepee." He said good-naturedly.. Although he didn't like humans at all. But she didn't need to know that he didn't care a fig about humans. They could do anything for what he cared, so long as it didn't affect him in any way. Meanwhile he was chattering, He stopped in mid-sentence, surprised at the close proximity of the other soquili. He wondered what she was going to do..? But he soon found out. After a second or so, the butterfly flew off to a patch of flowers. "It must like you." He suggested, with humor. "Meanwhile, the blasted thing hates me." His voice a mockery of anger.
"Thanks for the help~" His tone sincere while he gave her a peck on the cheek.
( Kai already has a mate though. XD So he's just playing around. <3 But But I hope they can be good friends. ^___^ )

She let the compliment slip for now, though it did cause a slight flush to come to her cheeks. She smiled at him, "It's good to hear that. Would have been a shame if I did something stupid on first meeting."
When her eyes were brought up, the smile turned into a small smirk as she shook her head. "You're full of compliments, aren't you?" She asked toyingly before adding, "but thank you none the less. I haven't trapped anyone with my eyes as of yet though."
"Well, you had to come from somewhere, even if you don't have a teepee. I'm sure you didn't just miraculously appeared here in the meadow." She toyed more, flicking her tail behind her as she glanced around for a brief moment. She wasn't going to ask him why he didn't have a human, it wasn't important to her... besides, some soquili just don't like them.
His comment made her giggle. "I think it's the opposite way around. Otherwise, I don't think it would have landed on you in the first place." When he had thanked her, she was going to reply to it, but the peck on her cheek caught her off guard for the moment. She blinked for a brief moment before smiling softly. "You're welcome."

"I always do something stupid, trust me." His voice playful, as he rolled his eyes. Somehow, someway, he always did.. Or it might have just been him.. But didn't they say that one's self was the harshest critic of all? Oh well. It depended on perspective and the situation.. or os he supposed.
"I'm not full of compliments.." He scoffed mockingly, pretending to be hurt. "I like to consider myself blunt.. Although I'm just nicer to the ladies." A lazy grin breaking out upon his face. He always thought that ladies should have been trated with a degree of respect, unless otherwise.. Although he couldn't have cared less about guys. As he payed keen attention to the mare, he was surprised by her curiousity.. Quite intriguing.
To answer her question, He replied with an evasive answer. "If my mother was here.. maybe you could ask her where I'd came from?" he suggested lightly, with a chuckle. Certainly, he knew that he didn't come from a teepee -OR- just appear in a meadow. "Although I doubt you could ask her or she would know since the dead tells no tales.. or maybe so, if you happen to chance upon her ghost.. Which I highly doubt will happen." Joking around.
"By the way.. I'm Kai." Introducing himself. "What about you?" An innocent question.

She gave him a slight shrug. "Okay, if you believe so. But everyone's their own worse critic you know." She replied with a small flick of her tail.
Blunt, yet nice to the ladies, huh? So, would he tell me if I had something embarrassing on me or would he be nice about it? She mused to herself playfully. "Well, I sure hope you're nice to the ladies... you wouldn't have much luck with them if. Well... unless they liked that sort of thing." She gave him a slight shrug at her last comment.
At his ghost statement of his mother, she gave him an odd look before shaking her head. "Well, who knows... I might meet her apparition one night. If I do, I'll ask her where you came from." Going along with his little jest. "Anyways, it's nice to meet you Kai. My name's Ayanna."

Gving her a amused glance, "Except for the over-confident ones. They are their own's BEST critics." His reply a lazy drawl. It was not one that you would encountered everyday.. But God knew how many there were. More than enough, actually. But Kai knew that soquilis like those.. Sooner or later, they would learn their lesson in life.. And when they fell, they would fall hard. He had seen more than one case of that happening.
"Obviously.. Your are considering me to be the big bad wolf here.." A sly grin upon his face, as he knew that she had figured him out for what he was. "But I assure you, I am not your usual.." Pausing before speaking again, "Mischief-maker. It's only a bit of innocent fun here and there.. And both parties are willing mutual.. What's the harm in it?" Came the leisurely, yet low tone of voice.
"Hopefully.. If and when you encounter her.. You can see for yourself, my kind-hearted mother's devastation for her only son's rakish ways." His expressions and voice, faking regretment. He did not regret his life in any way whatsoever actually.. He figured it was the time and prime of his youth.. Why not enjoy it?

"I haven't met many of the over-confident ones, but I'm sure you're right. They do seem to have an ego that likes to be inflated." Even though she hasn't met any other horses like that, Ayanna knew she wouldn't really enjoy being in their company. She didn't think she had the patience to be around the stuck up, 'it's all about me' kind really.
A grin of her own formed on her lips at his response. "Not necissarily a big bad wolf... more like a wolf in sheep's clothing." She told him with a flick of her tail, shifting around slightly. "Be careful now, one day you might happen upon a not so willing and mutual party member and they won't be too happy with you." Her wings slowly opened then closed, settling behind her once again, much like a resting butterfly's wings do.
Her bright eyes rolled just slightly, chuckling softly. "Aww.. I'm sure you weren't that bad."

Appearing to contemplate the thought for a bit.. After a few minutes, He suggested, "How do you know? Sheeps might actually like the wolves.." With a wicked look on his face. "Although I don't consider myself the sheep.. Many of the sheep do have a taste for adventure, and in that case.. It's only the sheep's fault." He deduced, with an innocent look.
At her comment of 'unwilling partner', Kai could only chuckle. Even he did not sink low enough to do that.. He wouldn't be accepted into good society if he did. Society had it's benefits after all. "Don't worry. I'm not desperate enough to resort to that." He said, with a laugh. "Unfortunately for you, I don't have any enjoyment in rape or sadistic activities." The idea did not have it's appeal, because of the grave consequences after. There were more ways to down a man, without violence.
His voice lowering down a shade or two, "Not that bad? Would you like to try it out this rake? I'd be more than happy to." But no doubt in his mind, was Ayanna's answer would most likely be no. She was a smart mare, afterall.
