i was wondering how many children you would like to have, if money, age, family, space and all where not an issue? rolleyes i think 4 would be perfect and hope to be able to afford those 4 too. i noticed a lot of you with more then one child have children that are close together in age...can you recomend that or is more distance between them better?

I would love to have like 5 or 6 children if money wasnt an issue. I love kids and love raising them. Well the one I have is a joy. But I would say I would like them with in 2-3 years apart. Once one is done being potty trained start on the next one. That is our plan here.

I have one already, but wouldn't mind one or two more. Or maybe a third... hard to say, one is already lots of work. But it is a joy raising him. I come from a big family (5 sisters and one brother), and big families are fun. I would definitely want to space them atleast 2 years apart, if possible. I really don't know how my mom did it, with kids barely 2 years apart.

I'd like to go for the big family and have 5. I think I'd have the patience for that. But if things are going the way they are going now...I don't think the potential husband/father would go for that. The fatherhood thing frazzles him a little. But we'll see. That was a while ago. I think spending time with my big family has made him a little more open to the idea of being a dad himself.
We agree that if we're going to have kids, it'd have to be more than one since we both agree that we benefited from having siblings. I think 3 is his current limit.

I already have one and he is gonna be two in May and I am thinking about another one but my health is really bad right now which I hate because I cannot be the wife or mother I always wanted to be! Unfortunately because my Ob is the one who messed up my health in the first place because he left me in labor too long because he does not believe in c-section unless it is an absolute emergency. Because of that I have had 7 miscarriages since my son was born in May of 2006! I wish money was not an issue but it is. Hopefully I will be able to have at least one more and hopefully it will be a girl then she will have a big bro around! heart Sarah..........Please pray for me and my family...thanks! sweatdrop

I have one six m/o son and as soon as he is out of diapers and potty trained, my husband and I are going to continue to expand our family. We're not quite sure how many children we'd like to have since I come from a very large family (8 siblings) and my husband from a smaller family (4 siblings). Either way, I know for sure that we're going to have at least 4.

my fiance and i had planned on 3. Already have names and everything for them. Sarra Annette , Emma Marie, and Cayden Keith. Sarra is here a bit early tho. We were planning on finishing clooege (2 yrs left) and then getting married and starting our family with only a couple years between kids but i am due May 22nd with Sarra Annette. We love her to death. I am hoping to talk my fiance into adopting at least one. I love adoption...cuz i was adopted!

If money and space weren't an issue I'd want around 10. i have one. I came from a family of 3 kids and I want my son to have the joy of growing and watching other children grow at the same time. Plus this kid needs play mates, lol. He's got neighborhood friends but while I like all of them some of them are to rambunctious to play in the house when their mom isn't here. My son wants me to put this smiley rofl Anyway I have this dream of a homestead type life where we have a few acres, grow all our own food, raise sheep, goats and chickens and have a big family of kids to do it with us. I have it so totally dreammed up the only things I don't have right now is lots of kids, a farm, animal....ok ok I don't realy have anything but the idea in my head and the know how of where to find how to books. .......
