I was wondering what books other people had to read for summer reading.
I have to read Angela's ashes, Girl with the Pearl Earring and another book of my choice from a list.

I don't have a summer reading list. Though I do have some summer reading. My summer reading alternates between fun reading and things I should read for reserch.

I've had summer reading since I was like 5. sad Well I'm actually a graduate student majoring in Medieval history, so I don't have reading lists any more.

ive read one book so far called *True Sight* and 2 good manga called *Soul Rescue* 1 and 2. I would suggest u guys read it! its very good so far! biggrin

I have to read over 30 books for summer reading! eek I mostly get to choose them, except I have to read Shakespearian, which I hate. All the Jerry Spinelli books are awesome, I've read them dozens of time. Right now I'm reading Eggs by Jerry Spinelli and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon, it's really good cause it's written in a totally weird way. Check it out!

I have to read Perspectives, The Scarlet Letter, and The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin.
...It's all so exciting.
But the Scarlet Letter wasn't too bad.

I have to read 1984 by George Orwell. Gah, I hated Animal Farm, so we'll see how this one goes. I also have to read The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. It looks good, actually.
I read Farenheit 451 last year. I loved it! Well, loved it as far as depressing books go. I did my 400 point research paper on it though and made like a 398. ^^ I had to read Lord of the Flies during my freshmen year. Let's just say thank God for Spark Notes. xP
