 Oki had been traveling for quite some time now only to find that he had ventured into another set of woods. These woods didn't seem to be as mysterious as the last forest he had ventured in meeting the odd story teller, but they seemed to have more history behind their bark. Unspoken history that the forest wanted to tell but couldn't.
His paws treaded lightly and silently to be sure not to attract any unwanted attention to him self. Being a lone warrior you needed to be careful with how many wolves were out to get a chance at you. That did not frighten Oki, but he did not want to fight if it could be avoided. Oki was a rather large wolf who could handle another wolf just fine if it need be.
Up ahead Oki spotted an apple tree. In the middle of the woods? He wondered what such a tree like that was doing in such an old forest, it was strange and peeked the warrior's curiosity. He treaded lightly and cautiously over to the tree.

Pi hummed cheerfully to herself as she treaded through the woods with no regard to how much noise she was making. Her mouth was moist and she was almost drooling over the thought of eating delicious apples fallen from that odd apple tree!
She knew most of the woods like the back of her paw because she'd been living in them for a year. She had only recently discovered the fruit tree, but she was sure there were other places she also didn't know about.
"Apples~Apples~Apply-apples!" She sung out with a giggle as the tree came into view. "I'm gunna eat you allll up! Yum-yum-yummy down my throat!" She sung that too, though her song made her sound like a small pup... actually it was not just the song, all of her screamed 'young' from her small frame to the non careful way she moved about, but she was an adult.

Oki stood perfectly still next to the old apple tree. His ears twitching about hearing a voice, as it got closer it sounded more and more like a young pup or teen female's voice. His complexion returned to normal as she came into view. A small female teen? He thought to him self not saying anything as she treaded closer and closer to the tree.
Oki hoped up onto one of the lower branches and made his way to a branch that was higher up before he was spotted by the assumed to be teenager coming this way. He still wanted to be cautious, he learned that you could never judge a wolf by size. His red eyes focused on her from way up high saying nothing, just observing when he heard a crack. His ears fidgetted praying the crack was not what he thought it was. There it was again another crack, this time the branch shook. Oki's front paws were now wrapped around the branch knowing what it was now. A third crack this time Oki found his fear to be one hundred percent correct as he tumbled to the ground grasping the branch landing on his back infront of the assumed to be teen. Oki just layed there in shock looking back up at the tree that had just betrayed him.

Her pace had slowed when she spotted him and her eyes shined with adoration. How did he get high up in the apple tree? Cool~! She thought in her head, eyes floating over his coat. She'd never seen such a big wolf.. generally her family was small. Though she hadn't seen any of her brothers or sisters for a year so it could have changed.
Her eyes widened even more and with a small yelp she scrambled backwards, the wolf and tree crashing into the ground. "Oh no!" She whined out, rushing forward as she started to sniff at his face and sides. "Are you hurt? Weren't ya scared?" She thought both of those questions were very important! He hadn't even shouted when falling... he was so cool! And brave!
"Maybe that tree is old! Did you come to eat apples?"

Much to Oki's relief the female was friendly. She had rushed to his aid when he fell from the tree and that was something no blood thirsty wolf would have done. His gaze was still stuck on the betraying apple tree. He hadnt looked at the female yet. Anger in him focused on the old apple tree for betraying him.
The branch he had chose to use hadnt been a small one either, it was a strong branch that could easily had held a bear up by the looks of it. The tree did it on purpose. There was no other way such a big branch would snap under a wolf. Even if he was big he didnt out weigh a bear by a long shot.
His gaze diverted to the female wolf, she was small. But up close he could tell she was full grown. He nodded his head as what she had just asked him registered.
"I am fine, not hurt at all," He pushed the branch that was on top of him away with a powerful kick from his back legs. "Scared," Oki repeated wanting to chuckle but didnt, "No, not at all, surprised yes," He had to admit that the fall was not calculated at all when he decided to hide up in the old apple tree. However it took alot to scare Oki.
Oki rolled over to his side and slowly got up. He towered over the small female. He looked back at the apple tree still wandering how the hell that branch broke when he heard her last comment.
"Yes the tree is old," He nodded, "Guess I forgot to take that into account when I decided to climb it. "I didnt really come for apples. Its just so curious that an apple tree be at the heart of these woods. But now that I am here," He smiled at her,"Guess an apple wouldnt hurt."

Her head tilted and her heart sang out. So cool! He hadn't been afraid at all! She would have, she would have thought she was going to die if a branch just broke like that from under her! Not that she'd be on a branch.. she'd never thought of climbing a tree before.
She just giggled and glanced around. "Oh good, cause there are lots of apples on the ground and on that branch that just fell and well... they're very tasty! You'll see!" Though it was weird that the tree was growing here in the middle of the forest, like he said.
"I'm Pi by the way!" She giggled again and chewed on her bottom lip. "I'm glad you're not hurt." Then she moved away to sniff at some of the apples, trying to find the best one.

Oki hadnt realized that his fall had caused so many apples to fall out of the tree. He got out of the way of the smaller female as she sniffed around looking for a good one when he noticed a nice big one right by his hind paw, it was flawless, not a scratch from the fall. He bent over and gently cradled it in his mouth so not to pierce the skin of the apple. He walked over to the female and layed it by her feet.
"Try that one," He said looking at her square in her eyes. She had told him her name. Pi? Odd name he thought to him self, but then again it was kind of cute. "I go by Oki," he said now sniffing around for an apple for him self. He had never tried apples this fresh before. These apples seemed to be perfect. He found a nice one, not as flawless as the one he gave the female but pretty flawless. His jaws crushed into the skin to the juicy white part to the core. Eating it all in one bite. His jaws were powerful. Juice did escape from the corner of his muzzle but that didnt bother the warrior much. It was sweet, something rare for Oki to eat, something sweet.

Pi squeaked in delight. "Eee thank you!" She said in excitement and glee. She took a bite out of her apple, she found it harder to devour them whole so she didn't try. After a minute she watched him and giggled at the way he ate it.
"Oki, yeah?" She said, tail waving back and forth and after a minute she darted over to him and licked right at his face! At the juice, really. She just giggled and stated, "sweet~" She was very energetic and was very much enjoying meeting this kind, strong wolf.

It had happened so fast Oki didnt know what hit him. Pi had run over and licked the juice right off his maw. Even though it was not uncommon for wolves or dogs alike to clean each other it had come to a shock to Oki. He swallowed and looked at Pi, his often expressionless face was now dumb struck. He didnt know what to think of what had just happened. Pi was different for sure, was she being playful or flirting? Oki had no idea, he wasnt good with these kind of things. Even less good with reading girls emotions.
"Thanks...?" He said it more like a question. His voice quivered a bit and it cracked a bit neer the end. He was a tad nervous now not sure how to act.
He shook his head and regained his normal complexion," You live around here?" He asked changing the subject. He was sure it was just something normal for wolves to do, clean each other.

Pi giggled and trotted in a circle, sitting slowly. "Mmm-hmm, I live at a watering hole close by!" She stated with a smile. "By myself.." She said, almost as an after thought. "I don't know where my family has gone to... but I guess I should be living by myself anyways seeing as I'm all grown up... do you live alone?" Her head tilted to the side, watching him intently.
She liked watching this male, he made her happy.

Oki didnt know why this female wolf made him so nervous, not the kind of nervous like scared of her, the kind where he had butterflies in his stumache. His eyes followed her as she trotted in a circle.
"You live alone?" He asked voice squeaking some, he had assumed she was part of a pack or had a family, she was exstremely young looking and small. "I-I," He needed to get his head together. Why was he so nervous. There was nothing threatening about this female. "I live alone as well. I travel alot," He said looking down focusing on an apple. He wasnt sure why he was having trouble talking to this female.

The sad part was that she didn't realize what kind of affect she had on this male at all! And when he stated she traveled she jumped to her paws in excitement and rushed back over, circling around him. "You travel, really? What's the world like? That's so neat! I've stayed in this area four a whole year... and before that I lived with my family." Though she couldn't remember where that was and it was probably for the better anyways.
She'd never met a traveler before, well no one had ever mentioned it in conversation. Which was strange now that she thought about it. "Do you have family?" She asked suddenly, bending down in front of him so she could look at his face, wondering why he was staring at the apple. Did he want another?

Family? Oki hadnt thought about his family in many years. In fact he hardly remembered them. He had a family some where, but he hadnt bothered to search them out.
"I have a family," He started looking at the excited female, "But its been many years since I have seen them. I dont really remember them all that well to be honest." It was true, he didnt remember them too well. He didnt remember anything bad or good. It wasnt something he really thought about all to often. He never been one for relations with other beings. Always following his own path never taking the time to slow down and get to know another wolf.
His earliest memories being from when he set out on his search for a strong enemy. He didnt remember why or when he decided to head out. It had always been something he needed to do.

He did not remember them, and was not sad? She frowned slightly, thinking about it. She would be very sad if she could not remember anything about her family... then again it was a slight weakness, living in the past. He was just strong and brave, and left behind what he could no longer grasp on to. Her heart was racing as she stared at him, thinking her own thoughts about how he was when she barely knew him.
"You are amazing.." She said softly, with out thinking. Her eyes widened when she registered what she'd said out loud and she turned away with a cough, standing and moving over to some apples and sniffing. There was really no reason for flattery, in fact it embarrassed her being so direct like that. Which was funny considering licking a male she'd known for seven minutes tops on the cheek was no problem.
"I mean... it is amazing since you do not remember them but it is obviously from being so long gone, no longer do you hold onto them. You don't let something forgotten restrain you in your life adventures.." How jealous she was! Why couldn't she just venture into the world... Wait! Maybe....
"Would Oki ever.." She said slowly, glancing toward him. "Would Oki ever let another travel with him?" She rushed out, afraid if she took her time she would no longer be able to ask it.

Oki couldnt help but smirk a bit after getting so much praise from this girl. He couldnt help it, she had made him feel so special. He puffed out his chest a little remarking, "It's really no big deal," And then he humbled him self down a bit, "I never really had a relationship with my family. My bonds were weak. I commend thy for her bonds with her family. Very admerible."
He didnt react to her question, he was calm like an unmoving stone. She wanted to travel with him. The wolf was unacustomed to being around others and never really bothered astablishing a bond with another wolf. He had nothing to lose though. Seemed innocent enough.
"I do not mind, but if you follow me," He started, "You will not see your family very often. Maybe once every year, I do not stay in one place to long, I move where the wind takes me." He had a serious look apon his maw.
