Two weeks in a row I think, go me. What did you think of this series' love and monsters? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

It hasn't started yet, but I'm going to presume that its going to be better than love and monsters AND stephen moffat is an awsome writer.

I loved it. Really. To me, best episode so far of this season. Love and Monsters/Torchwood's Random Shoes vibes, and I actually like talking a break from the main characters sometimes. See everything from another POV - one that's more easy to identify with most of the time. That and it was both scary and adorable and heartbreaking in all the right places.
Oh and the preview (which I don't usually watch) of next week made me stupidly happy. Jack. The Captain. Roll on next Saturday!

Wow, that was a really good ep, though it lacked David, but we knew it would do that, but it was really good and now I'm scared of statues. Just thought I'd drop in to say that - gotta go watch Any Dream Will Do now, bye.

Great episode, thoroughly enjoyed it. It was suitably creepy right up to the flickering lightbulb....
Then they should have taken a leaf out of Japanese horror and left it to our imaginations, cos those statues were *not* so creepy when seen. The first time the statue had teeth, I swore. But when they were all coming on, looking like they were doing the Time Warp or something, it wasn't so creepy.
Still, a fantastic episode which I really enjoyed. I really like Stephen Moffat's stories.
DW
PS I may kill Graham Norton if he talks over the best part of the credits ever again...

That was fantastic. But I wish the statues were less toothy, and like Warnersister, I wish they had left more to your imagination. Also, what was with that bit right at the end with all those statues?

That bit at the end was supposed to make you wonder if all them look like angels and be paranoid, I think, Stresshog. I thought it was delightful~! *Has statues in her garden too*
The flicking light would have been alright once or twice, but yes, bit like a strobe light at a disco in the end. Took away from the monsters a bit.
Anyone find it interesting the Doctor was called a 'lonely angel'(and it's been snagged by a good portion of the fanbase as one of his common names) and now we get these creatures?

So when it was off, larry and sally couldn't see them so they could move a little closer.

Holy. Crap.
I'm never going to be able to look at an angel statue the same way again - and I live really near a graveyard with loads in gonk
Fantastic. Really. Back on form, I think.

I found this very scary...But I can't actually hide behind my sofa because that's where we put all the stuff so it's out of the way. Oh yeah, and it's very close to the wall. It did start to get ever so slightly confusing, and why did the TARDIS leave them behind?
Actually, this story reminded me of another story I've heard. Where it was, I have no idea...

But the bit showing all the (I assume)real-life statues made no sense, and the bit with the flickering lights could have been done a little better. It ended up a bit comical.

I think the angel statues sent the Doctor and Martha back in time to 1969, while the TARDIS stayed in the present-day.

I'm not gonna get to sleep. Next time I see an angel statue I'm gonna stare at it and go blind from not blinking. And the angels couldn't kill them, only send them back in time. xd .
