"Oh, how neat!" Reira told Waikiki Kiki, opening the door and shooing the children inside. She was about to go inside herself when something caught her eye. Next to the door, getting pelted with rain, was a bush with white roses, and a strange bundle of leaves on top. Something compelled her to examine it more closely, and what she found completely shocked her. "Tiji... It's a little baby," she commented, her voice barely loud enough to be heard over the rain.
Waikiki Keanu was inside and completely oblivious. He wanted to get dried off, so he pulled out a couple towels and gave one to his sister. "Here you go. What should we do now? We can't go outside..."

Tiki Jim walked over to Reira. "How odd. It's not a demon, angel or Naiad. Better take it inside to get warmed up. Not good being in the rain." Tiki Jim nodded as he looked at the little baby.
Waikiki KiKi took the towel from her brother. "Oh, I don't know. How about... rain dance?" She then giggled as that was silly it was already raining. "Or I mean rain stop dance? Rain rain go away. Please come back another day." She sang the next part. Not very well.

"Of course," Reira replied, already picking up the little girl. She went inside, and got a towel for the baby and herself, her mind racing to decide what to tell the twins.
Waikiki Keanu chuckled a bit and went over to the window. "It's not working!" he told her. The rain was coming down as hard as ever, if not harder. He looked back and turned his attention to his mother and the bundle in her arms. "What do you have, Mom?" he asked curiously.
The baby glanced about, examining what she could see of the place. So this was home? It wasn't bad.

Waikiki KiKi nodded and stopped singing. "Yeah, it didn't." She then walked over to her mom. "Baby?" She asked. Not knowing where it came from.
Tiki Jim smiled and hugged his kids. "Well, I guess it is a baby." He told them. He'd leave it up to Reira to explain more then that.

Reira waited for Tiki Jim to continue, but realized that she was going to have to explain on her own. "Well, she was just outside, and it wouldn't be very nice to leave her out in the rain, right? So we'll let her stay here with us for a little while." Reira had sat down and was drying the baby off. She found a note scribbled on a small piece of paper that had been tucked away. "Well, maybe a long while..." she commented, turning the paper over. "Her name's June."
Waikiki Keanu was a bit confused, but he figured that this just meant another friend to play with anyway. "Hi, June!" he said, leaning over his mom's arm to get a good look at her.
June giggled at the sight of a new face. They all looked a little alike to her, though.

Tiki Jim nodded. "Yeah, I think we will keep her. Someone has to watch out for her." He kissed Reira's head. It wasn't something he thought would happen, but he was happy it did.
Waikiki KiKi nodded. "Okay, June can stay. Nice to meet ya!" She told the baby with a nod. Not used to babies now that she had grown into a child.

Of course Reira was quite nervous, but having her family all in support of another baby made things much better. "She'll have a nice, loving family to grow up with," she stated decidedly. Tilting her head back, she managed to catch Tiki Jim's lips with hers. Where would she be without him?
"So I have another sister?" Waikiki Keanu asked. The one he had was okay, so he didn't mind. In fact, he was kind of excited. Still, being couped up inside was dull. "Want to do a puzzle?" he asked Kiki.
June looked at the next new face. Wasn't it the same as the other? She had to look back and forth a bit to make sure there were even two. How confusing!

Waikiki KiKi looked back to her brother. "Sure." She then walked over to the floor and sat down. The child looked to the window to see if it stopped. She didn't get to surf for very long.
"The crib is still here, so I think it should be fine." Tiki Jim told Reira with a smile "Now, anything else we need?"

"I think we still have all the necessities," Reira replied. The twins had pretty much prepared her for anything.
Waikiki Keanu pulled out a puzzle of a sunny beach scene and dumped the pieces on the floor. "Still raining?" he asked, poking through the pieces. Maybe by the time they finished it would stop.
June was pretty overwhelmed, so she cooed something and nodded off for a nap.

Tiki Jim nodded as he brought out a few things. "Yep, still here. You never know. Very awesome." he walked over and hugged Reira.
Waikiki KiKi looked over to the window. "Yep. At least this is sunny." She said of the puzzle as she found a piece of the sun. She looked around as the best was to start with the ends and frame it.

"That's lucky, since we weren't expecting a guest." She tapped June on the nose a bit, smiling. Considering there were three kids in the room, things were pretty quiet.
Waikiki Keanu was gathering up pieces with sand on them. "When do we get to go back and surf more?" he asked his parents. It had been fun, and he liked getting out.
June opened her eyes a bit when her nose was touched and yawned.

"Whenever you want. As long as it's not raining anymore. It was a bummer that it rained." Tiki Jim had been having fun too and was sad as well.
Waikiki KiKi nodded. She understood. It wasn't fun being rained on anyway. She didn't think about the danger of it.
KiKi put half of one side together. "Oooh...looks like some beach and sky!"

Reira saw that the little girl was falling asleep and went over to the crib to set her down. She was getting heavy, and Reira was worn out from the surfing and the walk home. How did those kids have so much energy? She hung back for a moment by the crib to make sure June settled in okay.
Waikiki Keanu had snapped a few pieces together as well. "And a palm tree, I think..." He looked back to his dad. "It was a bummer!" he replied. "And it looks like it's going to rain forever. If it rains forever, does that mean we can never go back?"
June was quite at ease and fell asleep quickly. This place was much more comfortable than that bush had been!

Tiki Jim smiled to Reira and the baby then walked over to the twins. "Forever? How long is forever to you? Don't worry most things never last forever. I guess we'll have to ask Hula Grandaddy as he's the oldest I know. Along with Grandpa Wobbie."
"It would stink if it did last forever though." Waikiki KiKi siad as she put more pieced together. She wasn't really sure what her dad was talking about.

Assured that June was comfortably asleep for now, Reira returned to the rest of the family. "What are you worried about, now?" she asked, taking a seat on the floor by the twins to watch them finish the puzzle.
"You know, forever!" Waikiki Keanu replied to his father. He moved the small section he had finished over to join Kiki's. He had given up on hoping the rain would stop any time soon.
June was quite tired out, and slept soundly.
