Hey, I just got Final Fantasy XI but I haven't installed it yet. So I was wondering, do any of you guys own the game? Is it any good? The customer reviews I read said it was awesome, but still I wanted more trustworthy people to answer my questions. By the way I already have all expansions and I was thinking of starting as a Red Mage and becoming a Samurai with sub of Dragoon (because I love dragons, and Dragoons get a special Wyvern to have with them at all times, A samurai with a dragon! Awesomness!!!) Also, what classes are you guys?

You can't be a sam with a wyvern. you can only get the wyvern if your main is drg, it's the 2hour ability of that class. I really love this game so I'm on all the time. If you want you can start on ifrit server and send a /tell to Anasthnette... if I'm on atm I'll send you some stuff to help ya start out.
the game isn't for everyone, it's difficult and it takes a lot of time. Most people in the MMORPG market think it's a bit too difficult. As for your sam/drg combo... that's a bad idea and you'll understand why when you start playing the game. You're gonna wanna either sub ninja or warrior with sam, some even go with monk. But if you have any questions, feel free to ask me... I'm sure I can answer any of them.

Thank you so much. I would have been devastated If I trained as t Dragoon than Learned I couldn't be a Samurai with a wyvern! So, I'll probably be a Samurai/Warror. However...It might be a good Idea to go with Sam/Red Mage consisdering I might start as a Red Mage. Thank you very much for your advice. Ill probably go on the Ifrit Server. Ifrit my favorite summon anyway...
