soccermanmc I think FF9 is the best out of all of the FF games dude i completely agree the only thing i dont like about it is how you have to have the weapon equipped to learn it by the time i had all the moves learned i was 10-15 levels above what i was supposed to be and killed everything in one hit!!

Someone deffinately posted this thread before but I'm too lazy to go look for it in the 'archives' so I'll just go along with this one.
I love FFVI. It had so much more character development than any of the other FFs. The later ones (FFVII and up) always only seemed to really develop the main character and a few more but not everyone. Zell practicallly wasn't even part of the game after middle of the second disc, half the people in 9 were just kinda there, Kimahri only had 1 real scene that did anything with him and when it was over it was kinda just shrugged off, and even the main character in XII had nothing to do with the storyline... it's like he was just watching everything along with you. In VI you have 13 characters that all have an in depth storyline (though for some of them it's pretty difficult to find) and you really begin to feel for them because of it.

FFVIII. its the first one i got, and ive been playing it ever scince. also, Squall is cool.

My two personal favorites are FF6 and FFTactics. FF6 was just awesome, I mean there was jes so much you could do with it between all of the characters and all of the Espers. It was so solid, plus it was the second game I ever played for FF when I played it as FF3 on the SNES.
Tactics was jes too much fun. I loved how it went less rpg to more strategy and thinking and character development. Loved em.

My favorite Final Fantasy is Final Fantasy VI. I love the characters, the Esper world, having Mog as a usable character, and just the whole feel of the game.

Final fantasy tactics had such an awesome storyline, I loved it. I really enjoyed VI and IX as well. Those would probably be the top 3 anyways.
