The Last Harry Potter book is coming out on my birthday. JK Rowling totally <3s me. heart
Have you ever had books come out on your birthday? Will Harry die in this last book? If he doesn't, will fangirls mob JK in order to get another book written?

The fan girls will riot but in the words of Peter S. Beagle, "A happy ending is a story that hasn't ended yet."

Any book which I wanted to read that came out on my birthday would probably scare me since my birthday falls on October 13th. You know it would have to be something weird.

If a book came out on my birthday, it'd have to be a weird or scary because my B-Day is April 13th which sometimes falls on a Friday... sweatdrop

Personaly, wile I am grateful for JK's unnatual ability to draw even non-readers to her books, I would rather not think about what plotline she has in store for us. If you ask me the book series hit it's peek on book 4 and slowly started to decline. I mean look at it, suddenly at book 5 it gets so much darker!
As for Harry potter dieing... I could care less, the little p***k. But my english teacher says that JK can't touch Ron or Hermione for fear of ending the book poorly (( and at this stage, getting a great deal of angry fan-mail)) I agree with him on that point, but He also says she can't touch Harry either. I dissagree, if the possiblility of Harry dieing wasn't out there I can tell you right now that no one would read past the 4th book. And personaly, if Harry does die then I would love it! Just so I can see all my harry potter fans go nuts over it! Like, the last book, the day it came out by lunch time I had friends in black cloaks saying that they where "In mourning". It was actualy fairly funny!

Personally, I kind of like the fact that there is that "What if?" factor. I believe will find out when the book comes out.

I would find it rather offensive if she killed off Harry. Some kids may interpret the message that when you have a horrible life, the only way to escape it is to die. To put him through so much only to kill him seems pointless to the series. But that's just me. whee

How funny (well, not really). It falls on my birthday, too. That was my gift. A very much reserved and paid for copy. In fact, I'm gonna go read it now.
