With a stretch the Elegant Garnet stood and paced away from her father's pride, shaking her head to clear it from her nap. Strange images danced through her head, left over from her dreams.. From the seeing... She shook herself again.. Remembering. Tay-Yibah considered the crimson bundle... The Princess of the Pride... Aritania herself.. Had told her.. Told her she was bold enough, brave enough, to be the Queen of her own Pride... "I doubt that will ever happen." She murmured with a stretch as she sped to a trot to explore the lands for a bit. "No matter.. What to do today?" She hoped to run into a few of her friends.. Though strangers would work just as well.. Something to do! Someone to talk to! The princess gave a bell-like laugh and leapt to a run.

Apollo gave a pleased roar up to the shining summer sky as he exited the steep and hidden mountain path that lead to his pride's valley location. The sun was shining and he had decided to take a walk away from his pride for a little while. He continued down the path, golden coat and mane sparkling in the warm sun. He supposed he would make a visit to the plains today.

Aritania paused to drink at a shallow portion of the river... Crouching in the soft sand, she glanced up from time to time, never relaxing her guard. She had heard of the Rogue Lions and Hyenas that troubled wanderers... And was not about to become one of those lionesses... She might be a female, but she was a Princess, daughter of the King Rackna and his Wandering Queen Ellidanio... Oh who was she kidding?! She was only a Princess by virtue of birth... Not by the strength of her heart or her will... "Maybe I should start my own Pride." She murmured, considering her reflection in the crystal water. "And prove myself that way... Or maybe I should go somewhere else... Fade away as a Den or Hunt Sister..."

Apollo wandered further away from his mountain home, now having no idea where he was, and cocked his head at the sight of a dark red lioness near a stream. she stood out quite clearly against the bright blue sky, and he decided to investigate.
He let out a roar to warn him of his approach, but it was of the friendliest kind, and quickened his pace toward her, tail lashing behind him, leaving trails of sparks if it happened to brush the ground.

Aritania perked up at the roar of a distant male, and as she straightened she smiled at him and let out a reply roar of happy greeting. He was unlike any she had seen before, with a glinting pendant, a golden mane and a coat like sunshine with lovely symbols all over him. Well, maybe he'd be a nice companion to while away the hours with... Stepping forward she tossed her head so her mane slid out of her face, then roared a greeting of her own. Wading through the shallow waters she crossed the river so they would be on the same side, rather than calling across to each other.

Apollo bowed to the beautiful lioness when he got close enough that he could potentially be harmed or seem harmful to show his friendship. "Greetings, lioness." He looked her over a moment, then gave a small smile, "You've wandered away from your pride?" He could always tell a pride-raised lion from a wild-raised one from the way they were built, the shine o their coat, and the way the carried themselves. After having seem many a lost lion, he best knew which weren't wanderers.

"I wander from time to time..." She shrugged with a smile. "But I make my home in Rackna's Pride Lands..." She tilted her head and considered him. "I'm Aritania, and it is very nice to meet you, Lord ?" She lifted her brows in question.

He smiled at her, "Unfortuantely I am unfamiliar with said Lord, though obviously a good one to have you in his lands, Lady Aritania." He chuckled and bowed, "Apollo, king of Heaven's Guardian's. A pleasure to meet you."

She grinned and shrugged, her necklace gleaming brightly as she giggled. "He has little choice... Rackna is my father..." Considering him, she bowed her head slightly. A King? Leaving his lands? Did his Queen have enough strength to protect the whole of the Pride until his return? "It is a pleasure to meet you, Apollow of Heaven's Guardians... Is your Queen well enough to protect the Pride in your absence?"

A Queen? Alas, he was without... But he took the slight sikning of mood in stride, offering her a small smile ot replace the one that had just dropped from his face. "While I have no Queen, my pride is... Small, if that, and very much hidden from evil eyes." A small pride? Hardly. At the moment, no one had needed his help, and his valley remained empty.
He veered the subject away from his sad excuse for a pride, "So you are a princess?"

"You have my apologies, I spoke carelessly..." She ducked her head slightly, chastened. A male so, glorious? Without a mate? "I am... Aritania, the Elegant Garnet of Rackna's Pride..." She bowed low. "A Princess and a Wanderer, and a bit of a seer..."

He smiled a little more midely now, "A jack of all trades it sounds like," he joked, sitting himself down now that formalities had been exchanged. Silly formalities - they only got in the way of any real conversation. "Then which are you now? A princess, a wanderer, or a seer?"

"What am I right now?" She tilted her head and then chuckled. "I'm a Wanderer trying to get away from her visions?" Her expression was playful and amused. "How about you? You a wandering King? "

"Ah!" he exclaimed sharply, standing and lashing his tail through the air in a somewhat excited manner, sending the feathers attached in a sprial, "A king, yes! But not a wanderer." He pranced around a moment, suddenly exhilirated for a reason unknown even to him, "I am simply a seeker!" He flashed a toothy grin and pranced a final circle around her before sitting down again.
