The day was especially lovely in the late afternoon, despite being in the middle of a desert, the air was pleasantly cool, big fluffy clouds keeping the sun from beating down to hard on the small specked back of a dancing baby Malu. After promising Vivaldi that he would not stray to far from the Rose Goddess’ shrine, he had run out to a flatter, wider aria to practice his acrobatic twirls, and spread legged leaps. Especially graceful for one his age and devoted to what he believed in best, his mind let the memory of his promise slip away, as he continued to dance farther and farther away from Vivaldi’s shrine. It did not take him long to even forget that he needed to practice, prancing around this new aria as he explored for new places, and new people to show off to. young wings flapping with the time of his prance to give him an almost floating look to him.

Even if the day was rather lovely for the young pup, it was absolutely miserable for a certain Night worshiping malu. He lay in the cool grass, his ears drooped slightly and twitching too and fro slowly. A permanent annoyed scowl was set on his maw, and his eyes squinted slightly in the bright sunlight. He hated this... His ink black fur only absorbed the heat, making him competely miserable. But his mate insisted that the sunlight was good for the pups, and that they would shrivel up to skiny moles if they stayed inside in the tunnels of the temple.
He was currently braving the heat while teaching his youngest male up to scare things, his own trade and pride. Who knew where the others were... He didnt really care. Theyd come back when they were hungry.
Nuce was currently hoping around in a large circle around his father, yipping happily with each jump. "Gabbu gabbu gabuuuu!" Who knew what gabbu meant, but it meant something.. even if it was just some excited childish battle cry.
Kearn rolled his eyes and groaned. He hated it when his son was like this.. Well, he didnt really get along with either of his son's personalities... But he watched him, his eyebrow slowly twitching.
Nuce suddenly stopped, blinked up, then stiffened and fell over. Just like that. With no warning, he just fell over and nestled into the grass with a sigh. The clouds had covered the moon. Even if it was daylight, the moon was still there and still had power.. but now it was gone. He whimpered and squirmed a bit, then sniffled sadly. "Gabbuuuuu....."
"Oh shut it..." He grumbled. His whining was almost as annoying as his hyperness... It was then he saw the other young malu in the corner of his vision. He lowered himself further to the ground, peeking up over the grass. "Hmm.... Interesting..."

Blissfully unaware of the two dark Malu ahead of him, he pulled to a abrupt stop, ears fanning forward in interest as he stared down as a large leggy beetle inching its way lazily in Gabriel’s direction. Sliding a pointed paw forward, placing it lightly in font of the other he grinned wide he pranced forward, leaping over the bug, back legs stretching out, hooves pointed, then continued to prance in circles around the poor bug. “My Goddess things I’m better then yyyoooou” he cooed teasingly to the beetle
