This is the room where the bridges to the other worlds connect to. Only a few are open as of this time, but more worlds and portals are opening up.
(Figured we needed this. Sorry about the shortness. I hope you edit this post and add in something more fitting.)
EDIT: Atrum here. I'm hijacking Tesunie's post for a second. His description is a little short, yes, but it works. All I have to add is to tell you to remember that the bridges aren't literal bridges (like, with stone). They aren't physical. They are dimensional gate-way sort of things.

A young boy slowly awakens on the cold stones of the chamber. He doesn't remember where he is, or where he has been. All he knows is that his name is Tesunie, and he isn't where his home is.
He knows the feeling from his hands and feet as they touch the cold dry floor of stone. The feeling of his check against the smooth surface. He moved his fingers, all of them there. He counts them. Ten.
Then he gets up, kneeling on the floor, his bare knees rubbing on the floor, feeling the hardness of it. He reached down, touching his fabric shorts, uncertain of where he got them. Then, feels the shirt on his chest. The fabric moves with him, catching on his shoulders.
Funny the things you remember when you forget everything else. He knew what hands where, and how to move them. He remembered how to stand, as he does, slowly getting off his knees. His feet, bare against the smooth floor. He looked down and saw his toes, knowing that was what they were called.
"Hello?" His voice surprised him as he speaks. He understands what he is saying. Hello. A greeting. "Anyone there?" He asks, wondering if he is the only person around. Funny how he even remembers that he isn't the only one of his kind. He doesn't remember meeting anyone else like him though.

Takura walked length-wise across the Chamber of Bridges. She looked sadly back at the machinery world she was leaving behind for her own world, whatever that was.
She walked down the chamber stairs, pass multiple different worlds, some locked. She saw the higher parts of the Atrium from just standing at the center of the Chamber of Bridges.
She turns around in circles in this immaculate white room, and stops abruptly as she hears a young voice coming from one of the Bridges father down the chamber.
She picked up her skirts and ran in the direction of the voice. She a saw a young boy in front of a very large bridge leading to a world she never had heard of.
She ran over to the little boy and slid on her skirts and her knees toward him. When she reached him she ran into him some, and pushed him a couple of inches. "Hello. Im Takura, you ok?" She asked helping him stand to his feet. She put her hair behind her ears reavealing their shape and size.

Tesunie was shocked by her sudden approach. He wasn't expecting a response like that, no less to actually see another person here. He thought he was alone for some reason. "Hello. I think I'm fine. I don't think I have any injuries. My name is Tesunie." He smiles at her, as he slide a little on the smooth floor. His short blue hair waved with the breeze they had created. "May I ask you a question... where am I?" He suddenly blurts out.

Takura was sort of embarrassed by surprising the young boy. The Chamber of Bridges was amazing large and didn't have much in it, so the slightest noise would sound twice as loud as it normally would.
After the ringing in her ears left she brushed off her skirts as the boy said his name, Tesuine, and asked his question. She was about to brush off the very bottom of her outer skirt when he asked where he was. She looked abruptly up at him.
"You mean, you dont know where you are or where your from...wow." her insides were ecstaic there was another person in the worlds who didnt know where he was from. Im not alone. Maybe I can help him. She looked back at Tesuine.
"You are in the Chamber of Bridges. They connect every world. Not all the doors to the worlds are open. Im looking for where Im from. Thats why I am here. I was found in the world of Mechus, with no recelection of where I came from or what I am. That was about 10 years ago. , she had looked down at the white ceramic floor as she was talking, then look back up at the boy.
"Would you like some help looking for where you're from?" She asked, her black hair falling back over her long pointed ears.

(For the fun of pointing it out, I never said I don't know where I was from, only that I didn't know where I was at that moment. rofl )
"Well, help is always appreciated. So you have been lost for ten years already? A long time not knowing your family, or if you even have one." Tesunie looks at the mirror like surfaces of the hall, seeing the reflection of himself. It looked familiar, but foreign at the same time. He knew it was his, but only vaguely. Suddenly you hear his stomach growl, very loudly because of the echoing of the hallway. "Is there a place to get food around here?" He looks down at his belly, as it rumbled away again. "I don't know when I last ate." The thought suddenly dawns on him when he says that.

Skye peered through a small crack near the bottom of one of the surrounding ceramic walls. With much effort, she made out two figures, which she supposed were a boy and a girl. The strain of staring became quite a nuisance and after a few minutes she was forced to close her eyes. Annoyed, she quickly stood from her cat-like crouching position upon the filthy ground and sighed. Lifting her arms in a stretching positon, she noticed a smudge of dirt smeared ever so slightly across her left arm. Infuriated, Skye forced herself to close her eyes once again, this time to concentrate on a spell. She uttered an unreconizable one syllable phrase and instantly was able to locate the many stagnant winds floating unnoticed in the small stuffy room.
Muttering another wind spell, Skye opened her eyes and looked distastefully around the room. She calculated it was about 15 feet by 10 feet, not nearly large enough to have a decent fly in. Skye glanced at the portal in which she entered from, and wished that it could get her back to her own world. Unfortunately for her, it was impossible, and all her attempts were proven futile when she went through it and ended up in the exact same place. Closing her eyes once again, she spoke the final words of the spell and listened intently to the wind. Sure enough, she was able to make out a few words and phrases spoken from the other room.
"Hello. I'm Takura, you ok?"
"My name is Tesunie...where am I?"
"You are in the Chamber of Bridges. They connect every world. Not all the doors to the worlds are open..."
Her eyes snapped open as she heard the last sentence. Eyes ablaze with newfound determination, she hissed out the words to a dark storm spell. Outstretching her right arm toward the crack in the wall, she uttered the final words of the spell. A blaze of red lightning stormed out of her seemingly harmless hand and raged toward the awaiting wall. The beautiful white ceremic wall exploded into a pile of rubble, and little pieces of stone sped wildly about, followed by a cloud of thick black dust. Smiling to herself, she stood patiently waiting for the dust to settle, her left wing placed delicately in front of her like a shield.

Tesunie covers his eyes quickly. The wall on the other side of the chamber just exploded for no apparent reason. "What?!" He exclaims from his mouth, not sure what just happened. Tesunie accidentally inhales some of the smoke as it spreads, and starts coughing profusely.
A few moments later, still coughing, he noticed that his arm had a few minor cuts on it caused from the passing debris. It was nothing to be concerned with, or at least it didn't look like anything bad. He wasn't a healer, or so he thought he wasn't. He wasn't sure what he was. He knew he was human, and he now knows that he bleeds as well. He didn't know why it was called bleeding, but this red stuff he thought of as blood was now slowly seeping from his body. "Ow. Ow. Ow." He says as he holds his arm, trying to cradle it or something, uncertain as to what he needs to do with it.
(A few edits as suggested by Earth2dragon. Mostly grammar and stuff like that. Very minor.)

((I realize this, but she doesnt. I knew you didnt say that. Shes assumes things very quickly))
Just as she was going to answer Tesunie about food, she whipped around toward the location of the blast. She then took a couple steps, and, with lightning speed, drew her sword. She walked slowly toward the blasted wall, and saw a black garbed, black haired, black winged girl on the otherside.
Did she just open a new door? thought Takura as she lowered her weapon from her advancing stance. She heard Tesunie saying 'Ow' from where she left him, and motioned for him to, in any way that he could, come to her.
Takura looked at the winged girl and thought about stories from Mechus, and remember one about Fallen Angels. They almost always wore black, and had very powerful magical skills. They also had the immense beauty of the angels, because they used to be one themselves. She re-sheathed her sword, and swung her skirts around so she wouldnt trip on them.
"Who are you, and why did you just burst open a wall in the Chamber of Bridges?" She asked the winged girl in her most menacing voice possible. Takura was afraid of very little, and she knew in her head what a Fallen Angel was capable of, which didnt phase her at all. She had her fingers in her skirts, and lying on her Recurve bow, in case the Fallen one made any sudden movements.
With that she waited for the Angels response...

Skye slowly uncurled her wing into its normal postition, revealing her mocking icy gray eyes. Her mouth twisted into a sneering smile and she bent into a crouching position. In a flash she pushed off the ground and rocketed upwards, wings folded neatly against her back. Once she reached a height of fifteen feet, she extended her shiny black wings and begun to hover lazily above Takura and Tesunie's heads. Pursing her lips together, she looked Takura up and down, wondering if she posed as any threat. Narrowing her eyes, Skye observed the elf's fingers laying uneasily inside her skirts, as if clutching a concealed weapon. A smirk planted itself upon Skye's face, and with a flick of a wrist, an ornate silver staff appeared within her grasp.
"Greetings Takura and Tesunie." She called out in a cold tone, "As to answer your nosy little questions, I am the Dark Lady Skye and not long ago I arrived from my homeworld, Etheria. As to the wall," She turned her head and glanced at the undistinguishable pile of rubble and stated, "I did what I had to." She began to stroke her staff gently, her expression nuetral, showing no emotion. "Now, to you two." Her icy gaze passed over Takura and landed upon the bleeding boy. A thoughtful expression passed over her face as she watched his confustion over his arm. "Why are you here youngsters?" She asked in a rude tone, "Got lost looking for mommy?" Smirking, she waited patiently for their responses.

Tesunie walks over to Takura, still holding his injured arm, trying to do something with it. The pieces of stone are still lodged in his skin, and blood slowly seeps out of the wounds. He doesn't know the first thing about medical care, for he didn't remember any if he did.
He looked up and saw the black angel, distracting him from his arm for a short time. Her beauty was something to marvel over. It was hard to believe that so much power and deadly force could have came from such a seemingly delicate frame. All he could to do was marvel at her wings as he sees her fly with them. He knew that humans weren't suppose to fly on their own, so he wondered how she managed to do it. Was there some kind of contraption holding her up? The things you remember...
(More minor edits on grammar. Nothing to worry about.)

Takura looked at Tesunie, and noticed him marveling over her flying. She could tell the boy was from the Machinery world of Mechus, but did he remember this?
She then remembered his arm, and removed her hand from her bow, and tore some fabric from her skirt. Takura carefully removed the pieces of wall from his arm, and tossed them aside. She took the ripped piece of fabric, and wrapped his arm in it. That will have to do for now. Now to deal with this evil creature...I hope.
The Fallen Angel made her snide remarks, and she slowly turned toward the creature. She really just wanted to hit the floating creature in the gut with an arrow, then cut her into miniscule pieces, and then do much more to the pieces. Though they were to grotesque to put into words in her head. She shook her head, and ignored Lady Skye's comment.
Takura replaced her hands to her sides. She no longer had her hand on her bow. She had her hand on a cylindrical shaped bag that lay around her waist. Her quivver. She had her quivver outside her skirts, but not how normal somebody would hold onto a quivver. It was around her waist, because her sword was to large to be there. She opened the top of the quivver, and casualy took out one of her arrows. Takura then looked back up at this Dark Lady Skye, turning the arrow between her fingers over and over again.
"No, and thats not your information to know! Lady Skye, I have a question for you. What is your business here, and why are you tormenting Tesunie and my self? What did we do to you? Hmm??" She asked the Angel menacingly. She had seen the angel surveying her earlier, and knew that she might pose a threat to her. So, with her free hand, Takura removed her bow from her skirts, and calmly held it next to her.
She really wanted to pierce the angel straight, but she would only do that if the Angel REALLY pissed her off. This time she was less patient in waiting for an answer.
"WELL?!"

Skye smirked when Takura took out an arrow and began to turn it around in her fingers. For the fun of it, she began to rapidly twirl the staff in her right hand, creating a strong rush of wind aimed directly above Takura and Tesunie's heads. A cold smile appeared on her lips, but disappeared instantly when she heard Takura make her demands. Skye shook her head in disgust at the thought of an inferior being such as an elf making demands of her. As Takura took her hidden bow out of her skirts, Skye sneered in disdain and clenched her left wrist in a makeshift fist. Forcing herself to relax, Skye called out, "For your information, my being here is not of your concern." She paused, and a thoughtful expression crossed her face, "Maybe we should call a truce. After all, I don't want to dirty my hands with the blood of the likes of you." She smirked rudely and after a brief pause asked, "So what do you say my little poppets?"

(Sorry, Internet was down last night.) (By the way, the really isn't any indication of where he is from. He could be from anyway, just not the one world with angels and demons is all.)
Tesunie winces as the stone fragments are removed from his arm. Whining a little with each one, typical for someone his age. He looks in amazement at the bandages, and how they felt on his arm. So that is what you are suppose to do, He thought that to himself as he watches her place the bandage. "Thanks." He says, blushing a little at how he had previously reacted. They felt nice on the wounds. Little to all of their knowledge, the wounds where already staring to heal, much faster than any normal humans should. No one could tell with the bandage on it though.
