:: The RGoTE Rules ::

From now on, we're going to be enforcing the old rules, and the new ones.
I seriously reccomend you to read this WHOLE POST, this is all to inform you.
Lately, this guild has recently been bombarded with many uneeded threads, posts, etc.
We just wish to fix these problems with a positive attitudeeee~

One thing that is already bothering me and most likely CRIE.nannako as well are the people who don't read the Guild Homepage. There are rules and a form there.

Those who don't follow these rules will be warned. Not like, "Dun dun dunnnn" kinda warning, just a mere heads up.

If this happens constantly, that's when we'll start getting... 'Iffy' and a bit more harsh.

As quoted from the front page:

Spamming is a BIG NO NO... It's simple, it's annoying and pointless. Spamming [to those who think this is related to meat ((lame joke *cough* _ _;; ))] is a post or thread that is completely off subject, completely random, an annoying post.

BUT!! There IS A FORM you should follow. [Although Moojigae has been kind enough to allow those who haven't to join] It's still a bit aggravating.

Currently, we're iffy on letting those who sound illiterate [I mean almost chat speak-like], and I can only hypothesize that they'd just spam.

Form:

"1. Why do you like DBSK, TVXQ, THSK, DBSG etc etc?
2. What is your favorite song, music video, member, and concept?
3. How did you find this guild?

Please submit the above information in your application in order to be a member..."

Please inform us of reading these rules as well.

Other important rules... And one that I'd like to stress.

- Literacy [no extreme chat speak] This is very important, to me at least it's not fun to read illegible items on the internet.

- Be active [Ref. to "Are You Active Sticky"] If you're not active, we're going to have to consider banning, although it's a bit harsh, it's a tactic we're going to use if you don't participate in our guild.

- No spamming [NO SPAMMING NO SPAMMING NO SPAMMING~~~] Post in the appropriate thread [Don't make a new thread for everything]

To further improve our guild (it's hard to do~ our guild is already too awesome >

1) It's nice to talk to others and if you're talking to just one person it's fine to quote. That's not a problem. But if your begin to quote another quote, or quoting another quote that's quoting a quote (Pffft~ x3) then this will be considered spamming. I mean, a few qutoes inside a quote is fine but if it's MASSIVE, then we'll start warning people.

For example...

If quoting isn't necessary (e.g. your reffering to a post on the same page or a mass quote), then please just saying something like, "Hey _____" or even, "@person :". They're all acceptable.

If you're quoting something from another page, that's great. If your quoting someone on the same page? Then it's a bit unecessary. : 3
If you want to quote something that's inside a mass quote? Just reffer to it, or make the quote yourself. There's a button and everything for it.
Quoting's fine, I'm not trying to say we'll shoot you if you do. But when your doing it just because your lazy and spam... we might have to bring out our WOMD.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING....

2) Page stretching. I hate it, and I'm sure a lot of people here do too. It's not pretty, it's a waste of space, and it make us scroll like CRAZY. For those who don't know (don't fret > <,,), page stretching is when an item (e.g. picture) in someone's post exceeds the size limit of Gaia's default posting system and stretches the page. This makes you have to scroll to the right and left and even further down.

To avoid this, we're enforcing a picture posting rule.

Pictures MUST NOT exceed 640x640 pixels. You can check a picture's dimensions by bringing up said item onto MS Paint and hitting Ctrl+E. If your picture exceeds these dimensions then please hyperlink your picture.

If you don't know how, here's the code:

So if I put...

[url=http://www.google.com][Google.com][/url]

... then I'd get...

[Google.com]

... as a result. ^_______^

If your picture isn't too big but only exceeds the limit just a bit, then that's okay. Just make sure it doesn't stretch the page. If we find posts like these, we will immediately edit them. If I edit your post I will leave a small message in it, saying that I did, at the bottom right corner. ^^

3) I also just want to remind you to not spam, put topics in the appropriate sub-forum. We really want to stress this rule because making a forum for every little video, every small article, etc., etc. takes up so much space. You'll get just as much attention for a video if you put them in their SUBFORUM.
If the video or article can stand alone as a completely seperate topic, go ahead! We all love to watch cute videos, read interesting news, etc., but we don't want spamming. ^^

These rules apply to every post in every forum. Please consider and follow them all.
