i bought "i feel sick #1" about a year ago at a local comic shop. it was the only copy in the store, & i was excited as hell that i found it. it was amazing of course, but i wasn't thinking ahead. i kept going back on the off-chance they might have the 2nd one, but they never did. for some reason, my dad wouldn't let me use the credit card to buy such a small-priced item online. i was stuck with a friggin cliffhanger for over a year!
finally, i bought #2 with a amazon.com gift card. of course the shipping was slow! when it finally arrived i was freakin out, & was all ceremonious & everything about reading it -- my mom was confused, she totally didn't understand the gravity of that moment XD
anyways, (dare i say it) it was worth the wait ;]

I went to my local store and the only thing they had was JTHM and squee. I was so depressed! And my parents HATE anything Jhonen puts out. They're so...eh! I just can't stand them sometimes.

Where I live (Kentucky) they don't have any JTHM books because of its graphic nature, so I had to wait until I visited Evansville. Everytime I went for a year, they didn't have it. Finally, I called up a Comic Book store and they had the directors cut big-a** book of fun. =D
And plus, the store manager had a Squee tatoo. He was really nice. XD

Cannibal...Starlight Where I live (Kentucky) they don't have any JTHM books because of its graphic nature, so I had to wait until I visited Evansville. Everytime I went for a year, they didn't have it. Finally, I called up a Comic Book store and they had the directors cut big-a** book of fun. =D
And plus, the store manager had a Squee tatoo. He was really nice. XD

The bookstore by me carries the big director's cut books, but that's it. I got my copies of Fillerbunny and IFS as a Chanukah gift from my cool aunt mrgreen Now my crazy uncle is trying to find a copy of The Bad Art Collection in time for my birthday on Saturday.......I will be amazed if he finds it. I'm lucky I guess, my family thinks it's funny that I'm so obsessed with Jhonen and Mom says I can read it as long as I stop reading it OUT LOUD xd

I have absolutely no place anywhere close to where I live that sells any Jhonen stuff. The town I live in used to have a comic book store right up the street from my house when I was like 5...but then they turned it into a tabacco outlet store. eek
