My three favorite blogs are Feministe, Feministing, and Pandagon. They're all great feminist blogs covering tons of things that are important to me - womens' rights, gay rights, racial equality, religious equality, and politics.

I personally don't read political blogs. I would if I could find one that really gets my interest. But I don't know if there is one out there.
But I get my current events information on the Daily Show and from my parents since they talk about current events often.

Don't misunderstand, I'm all for stuff like the woman's suffrage and helping the minorities, but feminists...eh I sorta am not on the same page as most light to all extremists. I have reasons of course, but you may get upset with me and start shooting me down eight ways to Sunday with your ideals.

aside from the feminist politics..I wonder where the direction of our country will be going..will we be like Rome? Become a 1000 year empire eventually politically falling from the inside out, or eventually make peace with the other countries and become a whole, or will china have a say on becoming a part of us (I've heard some scuttlebutt here and there about them joining the US as superpowers and that I've watched Serenity, I like that movie XD ). Anyone have any comments on this they would like to throw out?

it's kinda between a theory and hypothesis, cuz where I live people actually have buildings that are created to emulate Roman buildings to state: "we've been here for ages" kinda thing. Also America has been seen that way from the eyes of other countries, but china is pretty much at our level as well.

Also yeah it would be a bit odd, but that's just form plausible speculation mostly a hypothesis along with the subliminal concept of V for Vendetta.
