You're doing a essay, and you got a excellent thesis, and body paragraph idea! And then, all the sudden
POW! BANG! BOOM!
You got a writer's block! And you have no clue how to put everything back together now. scream scream And then you get all piss, and feel like BSing the essay. But you can't because you know that the teahcer is to strict and will give a automatic low grade if the essay isn't in her directions, or it doesn't even conclude anything about that topic?
Well, I do. rolleyes
Discuss: Writer's block When you had one. What was your essay on? Kay, just complain about life in here. scream
I feel extremely piss thanks to the writer's block. stare

I'm no good at writing any type of essay unless it's strictly research... That opinion crap kills me.

You'd think being a writer I could empathize... But for some strange reason, I've never experienced the dreaded pirate disease that many refer to as Writer's Block.
It's like being an athlete without a foot.

Dealt with that alot yesterday actually.
But The paper was due this morning, so I just had to power through it.
However there was quite a bit of "The word that I am thinking of would be perfect! But what was the word? What letter did the word start with? Oh BLOODY HELL, what was the word even supposed to mean!?!"
All of that accompanied by lots and lots of angry handwaving.

Oh God I hate essays, all that writing, then rewriting, then reading, then rewriting, then getting pissed and rererewriting. crying
When I get writers block I usually write down all my ideas in notes and have a break, when I return I fit them together. Seems to work. xp

Toastbusters You'd think being a writer I could empathize... But for some strange reason, I've never experienced the dreaded pirate disease that many refer to as Writer's Block. It's like being an athlete without a foot. You know, same here. I mean there are times when I am just not in the mood to write, but I can usually put stuff down on paper even then. I just don't enjoy the act as much as when I am bursting with creativity.

I get Writers Block... Sorta.
Really, I think that's the wrong word. It's either LWS (Lazy Writers Syndrome) or Writers Ball (Too many ideas). whee
But it's easer to call it Writers Block... So that's what it is!

tehehe this reminds me of a paper we had to write... It was something called a Glopsnerch, and the Glopsnerch could be anything.
The paper said "Who would you give this glopsnerch to, friends, family?
Draw pictures and diagrams of you giving the glopsnerch.
What type of person would you be if you gave someone a glopsnerch, good, bad?"
I would replace it with a dirty word (involving blow and... maybe job) and I couldn't think of anything to write other then that... I would have been dead if I wrote about what I thought. It made me giggle. why don't we... pretend?
