Something that's never been done here at the T4E. An artist has been elected as an MC of the Month twice, and God knows he deserves it completely. On February 26th the Hip-Hop world was delivered a major blow. Legendary Japanese producer Jun Seba died from a car accident just days after his 36th birthday. Many of you may know him as the man who helped produced the Samurai Champloo soundtrack along with Fat Jon, Tsutchie, and Force of Nature. His jazzy beats ensnared an entirely new generation of hungry Rap listeners who wanted to hear something different. Myself being one of them. It is through this one man that I've listened to so many different styles and artists creating my own unique personal style and preference. I can honestly say, I'd have never heard of Cyne, the Five Deez, Substantial, Shing02, Funky DL, and the list goes on without him placing them in the spotlight. Nujabes was and still is my favorite musician, it breaks my heart to know that there will never be another artist like him. I almost cried the day I got the news, now a major source of inspiration is gone... and the world seems just a little blander. Rest in Beats Nujabes.
