Walking slowly along the outskirts of the woods, his hoof beats acting as a drum. He continues to move at a steady pace. He glanced around the open field, and then looked forward. Spotting a berry bush, he moved towards it. He examined the berries trying to figure out what type they were. Satisfied with what he saw, he gently pulled at the berries.

Lovey had had an interesting time lately. She had a baby, she was pregnant, and for the life of her she couldn't figure out who the father was. Not that she slept with every stalliont hat just happened to wink at her, but more of a one-night stand with two different stallions. Lordy did she ever feel stupid about all of this. Her blue-purple hair shone in the light, the extra nutrition of eating for two had brought back a little extra shine.
She wasn't pregnant enough to have cravings was she? Augh. Shaking out her mane in a bit of a temper-tantrum moved, Lovey pranced towards a berry bush. Aely had taken to 'Naci, her filly, with such adoration that Lovey had left the two alone for the day. Now to eat!

He felt relaxed there munching away on some of the berries. He was slightly startled as he heard, or thought he had heard, hooves approaching. He raised his head high up but couldn't see over the top of the berry bush. Shaking his head and mane, he started to trot around the bush in search of the visitor. Remembering the stallions warning about the dangerous inhabitant, he quickly came to a slow walk to be safe.
What he saw however was not a kalona or related. He watched as a mare moved her way towards the berry bush. He was amazed at the mares mane and tail. He never knew anyone who could, or would have done that. He was also surprised by the colors, a white body with various purples on her mane. He shifted a little to his side, as he noticed some purple on her rump.
Not sure if she noticed him. He pawed at the ground, then bowed "Greetings" he called out.

Lovey tried not to chuckle at her own apetite. ‘Naci had run her down more than a few times to the point of just passing out on the grass and playing dead. That ploy usually only worked for a few minutes, then it was back to playing. Someone was trotting around up ahead.. Who on earth could it be? Lately she’d been craving adult conversation so she might as well stick around to see who was on their way to see her.
All well.. Food first! Giggling for a moment, Lovey ripped into a branch on the berry bush. She had always been able to eat the roughage along with the berries. Of course, by roughage she meant the branch, leaves, and even too much of the wood. ‘Naci always grumbled at the loud crunching. It didn’t bother her one bit.
Turning a curious eye, Lovey saw a stallion nearby and he was pawing at the ground. Was he going to charge? The idea made her grin slightly and swallow, “Hello, sir.”

He started to trot and skipped into a walk as he approached her. He noticed she was out enjoying the berries like he was. Bowing his head again "Good day to you" he smiled in greeting. He shifted his weight gently as he watched her. Feeling akward about just showing out of nowhere, he chuckled "Where are my manners" he laughed "I am Entei, and may I ask who are you?"

Oh good.. Lovey was glad when the stallion slowed down to a walk to approach her. The last well, basically since she had come to this place hadn't been overly smooth when it came to dealing with other stallions. Not that all of them were bad, just... hard to handle. "I am Lovey Dovey. A pleasure to meet you Mr Entei.. but please just call me Lovey." She giggled a soft and feminine noise before smiling, "The Dovey part is overkill in my mind."

"Lovey it is" he smiled back at her. Lovey Dovey, that's an interesting name, he mused to himself. "The pleasure is all mine" he complimented "So what brings you around here" he inquired, noticing some patches missing out of the bush within her reach "did you come here to enjoy the berries, as well?" He wondered if he was intruding, on her. "Sorry if I disturbed you" he apologized hoping he wasn't.

A quick smile made things a bit easier for Lovey before shifting to ponder what he had to say. A few leaves and berries were in the back of her throat and a rather ungainly and unladylike swallow was going to occur before she spoke again. Gulp! “Oh ehmm.. I have an adopted daughter, but she’s off with her two-legger today so now I’m just eating.”
What was the etique for telling others that one was pregnant? Shaking her out mane she smiled up at him, “Oh it’s no bother.. I’ve just been craving berries.” A quick wink, “Nice company helps too.”

"An adopted daughter" he questioned, what a nice gal to take care of another child. Listening to the gulp, he grinned. He watched her then shake her mane. He eyed the length of it, "How does one handle taking care of hair so long?" he questioned. "Yes the berries here are nice and sweet" he grinned admiring the bush's now. He nodded "Yes, nice company does help."

The urge to gush and talk about her little girl nearly made the mare's tongue wag. Most stallions were kind to mares that had children, but it would be faux-pah to just blather on and on and on for the next ten minutes. "Oh.. I think I'm just genetically gifted." Wow... that sounded rather vain, "It's always just kinda.. grown, you know?" Okay.. She hadn't told many people that she was pregnant as of yet, only Caelen, so she had to gush, "As of late it's been growing so strangely.. probably all the extra pregnancy hormones or something..."

He listened to her intently as she talked about being genitically gifted. "Extra pregnancy hormones...." he paused to try and figure out what she meant. "You mean your pregnant?" he looked slightly shocked. He took a quick step to his side to peer at her belly in a curious manner. "Congratulations" he exclaimed happily turning to face her again, he had never met a pregnant mare before.

The stallion seemed to either be hard of hearing or very interested in anything that came out of her mouth. While the first was mean, the second was kind of vain.. but she'd rather be mean than vain any day of the week, "Yes, I am." The excitement of the news was yet to really get into her voice or stance. Being happy about children was more than a little bit difficult if you didn't really know how to feel about yourself on a day-to-day basis. nope, having little ones would definately make things more exciting, "Thank you.. I'm.. kind of surprised myself."

He was more curious of her now, and it was showing in his expression. “Kind of surprised?” he questioned her. “How is the soon to be father doing” he asked curiosity in his voice. “Sorry” he apologized “you’re the first pregnant mare that I’ve met.” He shook his mane afterwards as he listened to what she had to tell. He hoped that he wasn’t being intrusive towards her with all his questions.

Lovey didn't mind in the least that the stallion wanted to know about her pregnancy, to tell the truth she really didn't know too much about what she was going through or soon to be going through. Her sides hadn't puffed up too much yet, but soon enough they would. "Oh... I don't really know how Biscuit is doing.. He's not really been around." Did she sound like a tramp? A love-em and leave-em type of girl? Hopefully not.. "Oh no! You can ask if you want... I don't mind." The hesitance in his last words made her want to soothe his mind. Heaven-forbid she make him feel uncomfortable around pregnant mares. She'd feel guilty.

He listened to her as she talked about the soon to be father Biscuit "So..he hasn't been around that much" he wondered why a stallion would leave his pregnant wife so much. "Is he the type that like to explore around?" maybe that was why, he pondered to himself. When he heard the hesitance in voice made him more curious of her. He gently pawed at the ground with his foreleg as he pondered what he had just learned. "So what's Biscuit like?" he couldn't get over the name, and wondered where he had gotten a name like that. "...and maybe you can tell me more about yourself...like how you manage all that hair?"
