Nuit sighed as she entered Atrum once again, without her human. The human still needed at least a couple more days of rest before she could torment it again. As a result, she found herself constantly sitting at the same branch on the same tree, staring into the nothingness and humming the same lullaby to herself, half heartedly perfecting it for the next time she had a chance to torture her victim. It hadn't been long since Nuit transformed into her final form, and although she was quick to adjust, it was still slightly strange at times, considering she grew much taller and more... human like. As a result, she still hadn't discovered all of her abilities quite yet. Scanning the darkness of the landscape, she let her mind wander in search of some escape from her boredom. Perhaps tonight some other being would appear? It didn't seem likely, but it was something to dwell on.

Wrapping himself up, he sighed deeply. He was finally free. Free from the hellish nightmare that he himself had to deal with. Freedom. Freedom that would only last a little while mind you, but freedom nonetheless. The new wounds from today were barely visible anymore. It still stung, but he made sure they would be gone by the time the dim lit sun rose above the dark place he called home. Needles were something not only his human had to fear as of late.
He scanned the area. There would be no fun in tormenting his human considering she refused to sleep on this dreadful, rainy night. A walk would do him some good. A walk without a small, woman-child clinging to either his leg, chest, or hair.
He hit a place with dead tree's that cluttered together. He remembered that as a terror he found great amusement in climbing them. He also had fun making sharp spears from the branches and tormenting any other terror or fear that had dared cross his path. Ah, those days were gone. He came up the the tree and placed his hand against the bark, stroking at it. He then looked up into the dead leaves and saw a pair of eyes glaring at him.

Almost startled, Nuit quickly recovered herself, hiding the surprise in her eyes. She was indeed hoping for some sort of company but she didn't expect this full grown demon that she saw before her. He seemed familiar. What was his name again? It didn't matter though, really. She'd remember eventually, without sacrificing her self dignity by asking him.
Then, she remembered where she'd seen him. It was that one who called her a flying rat before and tackled her on first glance. She smirked smugly at the thought as she stared back at him, not blinking.

(( Cool. I officially suck at life. So sorry for taking this long dear, I got caught up in things. Not a real good excuse.. but yea ><; ))
He tilted his head at the glaring eyes. They somehow seemed familiar. He had half a mind to reach up the tree and drag those eyes down, with or without the head they were most likely inside of, but instead continued to peer up into the tree like a timid rabbit on the lookout for a fox. He suddenly turned his gaze to the tree and sighed, placing his back against it. He came here to rest, not dabble in mindless affairs with people he couldn't care less about.
He was still curious though.
Curiosity killed the cat.. would it be able to fight death itself? He knocked his knuckles into the tree, trying to establish how firm it was. He then proceeded to quickly jab his scythe into it firmly shaking up the tree quite a bit.

Completely surprised, to her distaste, Nuit felt herself losing her balance on the tree as the other demon proceeded to shake the tree with his weapon. In a quick attempt to recover herself she leaped off of the branch, but at the same instant, found herself once again thrown off balance, landing on top of the him, feeling all of her self dignity escape her in those few seconds.

Grim grew wide-eyed as he saw a large object shake out, falling towards his head. When it hit him he twitched and fell to the ground, trying to hold whatever the hell had fell on top of him at least off of his head. When he realized just what was in his grasp he rolled over, pushing her off of him in a quick attempt of escape.
"What the HELL woman? Can't you hold better grasp to your branch?"

Instinctively, Nuit just hissed back at him, standing up and brushing herself off. Inside, however, she laughed softly at how panicked he seemed at that moment, despite her hidden embarrassment.
"Perhaps you should think before you act then, don't you think?", she retorted, glaring down at him.

Grim shivered lightly and pulled himself up, brushing himself off as well. He glared at her though, trying to hide what little dignity he still had to himself. It was an odd feeling.. he felt like punching her AND running far the hell away all at the same time. He would most likely do neither.. he hadn't the nerve to upset a female. He was aware of their odd, wicked ways.
"Think before I act? I wanted you to fall, not ON me you little ra .." he stopped himself, remembering that he called someone that before. A rat ... that had tormented it's human alongside of him once. Was it Nuit after all this time?

Nuit narrowed her eyes but then stopped, ceasing from glaring at him, and instead smirked. He looked a little surprised. Did he really not recognize her? That was quite interesting. Still smirking, she put her left arm on her right hand, index finger on her chin as if she were deep in thought.
"Hm... What was that?", she asked him, losing the malice she held in her voice before, and instead using one that was almost melodic.

"Hm? What was what? I said nothing at all" he mumbled, staring down at the ground. This would be an odd night indeed. He listened closely at her voice, letting his fears take form in front of him. It was indeed the little rat he had met many nights ago. Damn had she changed ....
"Is your human still a wuss dear? Or are yo taking the night off for a far, more important reason?"

Nuit looked off into the blankness of the sky, "The human is still exhausted. She wouldnt sleep for a week. If i don't let her rest, the thing just might die, and so too would my entertainment." She looked back at him, walking closer. "But other than this, I cant say anything interesting has happened. You?

Tilting his head, Grim gave her the oddest look he could muster up.
"Me? Wasn't aware that a cold-hearted one like you would care how death has been doing for himself. Neeeh ... my human is being preoccupied with another little terror. I figured I would take the opportunity to stroll around my home." he said, half-seriously. In reality he would be dancing if Nuit had not been there, finally free of the pink puffball that plagued him everstill. It was an odd feeling.. to be in control once more. At least he figured he was in control .. one could never tell, not even him anymore.

Simply shrugging a little, Nuit simply looked off again, her expression indifferent. "The night isn't always entirely cold-blooded. Some humans enjoy it, I believe. Besides, those who fear it often associate night with death, do they not?"
She stifled back a yawn, wondering how to possibly make this conversation more... intriguing.

He tilted his head, clasping tightly to his blade. With no human to occupy him, this time he had to actually converse with Nuit instead of chuckle at the cries of pain he so adored. It was odd.. and unusual for him to do in a sense. Have an intelligent conversation. He frowned, finally giving into the fact that he knew nothing about females and should not consider actually knowing how to act around one. Instead he should consider ignoring the fact she was of the same gender as a certain puffball, and embrace his ignorance for the time being.
"Do ladies of the night enjoy a stroll in the moonlight? Or was I wrong to have you.. leave your station so gracefully as was done?"

Nuit simply shrugged again in a graceful manner, not yet answering him. She dismissed the last comment and walked towards him, somewhat inspecting his blade, running her fingers along the pole. After several moments she stopped, finally looking at him.
"A walk would be fine.", she replied.
