With his hand wrapped tightly around the wrist of his complaining elder brother, Caspian Aurelius, the Pirate King came bombing down to the docks, his hat clasped in his other hand, a wild smile on his face as his hair, somehow free'd from its usual pony tail flew behind him, occasionally smacking his brother in the face. Kastor didnt look pleased at all. "To you Post Men!" he hollared as he ran though the docks, his brother still forcibly in tow, a streak of pink moving after them in its floaty skirt.. Zaelia was always with Caspian. "We set sail now!" He called, releacing Kastor at last to est his hands on the side of the ship, allowing himself to lean over and survey his crew. "To Adventure men! It adventure and riches! We have a map and the wind is fair! Today we find our fortunes!" He grinned again and let out a loud cheer which was picked up by some of the other members of his crew, the deckhands, as they moved to board once again their ship. As he stood his eyes searced for his officers, Jonik, a youngling who was like a son to him... their quatermaster, Raguel, the Boson. An old friend now, he'd been aboard for a while, and was a courtier as Caspian had been. A man who wasnt really as hard faced as he appeared.. Ayudar, the firstmate, was another trusted member of the crew.. a dark haired elf.. some had said that the captain and his first mate bore an uncanny resemblance to eachother, Caspian, unused to seeing his own reflection, wasnt really sure if this was the case or not... He saw, across the way, the two men he was perhapse the closest to, Zuberai, and Bayne, his Pilot and Gunner respectively, two such ulikely friends he'd never had a chance to meet, but he'd have been distraught to lose either of them, and Zae would probably have had his guts for garters if one of them had been allowed to leave... one face he didnt see however was Keita.. where was the surgeon..? He couldnt see the young man anywhere... A couple of the younger crew members.. one of thecabin boys and a deckhand were more familiar to him that the others.. he'd have to make a point of getting to know them.. now hang on... where was the cat...? His probably enraged other half didnt appear to be around either... ON the upside.. nor did Murdoth...

Raguel looked over the side and smiled as he saw his Captain with his brother in tow. This was the best part, Caspian getting the whole crew excited about their new voyage. He cheered along with the rest of the crew, excited to finally be leaving port. There was only a small bit of him that felt saddess at leaving. It was the son in him. His mother never came to port to see him leave, it was too painful for both of him. Neither knew if they'd see each other again and neither wanted that last view of the other departing. It was better to have happier memories.
He grinned at Caspian as he looked towards him and immediately started doing his job. While he kept the crew in line he also did a good bit of grunt work. He leant his strength to help pull up the sails. He leant his experience to tie the knots to keep them open. He would do anything for the crew of this ship, they were his family. "Come on Lads!! The tide is ours, lets get our Lady out on the sea!!"

Jonik smiled softly as the Captain arrived. In his past the Quartermaster had always braved it alone, when he really should have had a family to call his own. The crew was siftly becoming like that family he so longed for and its captain was like the father he had never met.
"Everything is in order, Captain." he said "And we have enough cargo to last for the first leg of our journey. Of course your directions weren't all that clear so I just went and splashed out on beer and salted food."

"Ba~?" Goddamn it... Macy sat up on the bed, turning a disapproving look to his daughter, Estelle. She wouldn't sleep!! No scratch that, she DIDN'T sleep...ever...it was like she knew Macy liked his sleep and was purposely depriving her 'mother' of it, Macy swore he got uglier when he missed out on sleep and not just in looks, his mood got ugly too. "sleep, Estelle" Macy whined to his daughter, lying back down on the bed. "Ba!!" "Bat isn't here" he said, tone edging on annoyance. Why didn't she say something other then Ba?? it annoyed him. He was getting to the point of being exhausted and running on foul moods (and with Macy's foul moods, he could most likely run for years on them). He wanted to relax and sleep and relax... "Da??" Estelle asked, blinking and looking around for her daddy, Macy gave an annoyed sound. "go find him yourself" "uuuuaa~" Estelle whined, chucking the rattle over the bars of her crib and it fell to the floor with a clatter. "your dad is forever cursed for giving you his energy.." Macy grumbled, his back to Estelle and his ears flat to his head to try and ignore the cheers and shouts coming from the deck. Just this once, he wasn't going to give into his daughter. She wasn't going up on deck with him, she was going to sleep. "Da?" ."....fine, but he's dealing with you!!" Macy grumbled, getting up and picking his hyper-active baby girl up, he gave her a frown before exiting the cabin for the upteenth time, standing out of the way to watch everyone. Now he hoped Estelle never got his temper, god help the world if she did.

Caspian grinned at Jonik, the young elf was a wonderful asset, and for the hundreth time Caspian debated telling Jonik to inclue himself on his calculations of the ships worth.. He was certainly a special asset as far as Caspian was concerned, Shooting a grin to Raguel, the Bosun, in passning, Caspian turned his attention to Jonik and nodded to him. "Good work son!" he stated with a happy smile, failing to restrain his parental instinct as far as the young elf went. "You see!" he stated, whipipng a napkin out of his waistcoat, it had a rough map drawn on it. "This will be our route.. I found it in my picket, its never failed me before! And the route matches some old texts I found in Jareth's library!" He nodded, "I also.." and his voice fell quieter here.. "Have a map that outlines our destination.. which you have to admit is more that we've had to work with before..." he grinned. "So this time things are sure to wqork out well, oh, and we'll be stopping off in St Jaque, didnt you have al ady friend there once?"

Jonik nodded slowly in his usual "yes that's such a great help, now can we check that your brain isn't as covered in barnacles as the bottom of this ship" kind of way.
"Well, I can double check the route for you before the Navigator gets here, if you want. It's quite surprising, you've never come back with latitudes before." he said, as he highly suspected that his captain drew most of these maps himself. It was almost as if someone had planted the information there. He would have to ask about that one later. There as something else he had been meaning to tell Caspian as well, but with Macy around it probably wasn't all that wise.

It was only a matter of time until a small squabble was set to break out, and it would predictably be, of course between two of the closest friends aboard the Hades. After so many years without times such as this, no doubt the relationship would have become quite dull. The cause? The pilots beloved jacket and the catalyst of the argument was no doubt the shoulder across which the somewhat short pilot was folded over. This wouldn't be the case for long he felt, the gunners sholder was unbearably pointy, and with the fuss he was causing. Someone would surely pull him off soon.. Really soon.. Otherwise he was going to be at risk of recieveing quite the nasty puncture wound.
He wheezed and squirmed again, "Okay.. Okay! I don't care about the jacket anymore! Put me down!" he flailed his legs, which the gunner sadly managed to evade, "Down! I can walk straight! I hope!"

Caspians brain, in all honesty, probably did need a good scraping.. if rum could turn into barnacles that is.. either way he grinned at his psudo son and clapped him on the shoulder once. "Thats a good lad." He stated, "You always were good with the number things, I always got latitude and longitude muddled up horribly... where is that damn navigator for that matter.." Caspian haddnt seen him yet.. it worried him slightly. Still, he was sure he'd turn up.. "Yes, go over it with him if you dont mind." he stated, "I trust you implicitly, but I'd hate him to think you were doing him out of his.. seldom attended job after all.. I wonder sometimes if he isnt a little to fond of the fairer sex.. or just sex in general to be a pirate.. we need to spend more time focussing on Gold and less on ladies.. or men.. or ladies in mens clothing.. or.. yes.. anyway.." Caspian shook his head. He was always unnervingly.. well.. relaxed when talking to Jonik.. possibly bvecause the young lad felt more like family to him that the rest of his crew... but he seemed pre-occupied today.. "Something else on your mind there..?" He asked, spotting his temremental partner move onto the deck, he raised a hand in a wave to the Unigon.

Raguel was more than happy to get back to his duties. He watched as the rest of the crew climbed on board and started barking a few orders. While he would never assume to do the First Mate's job, some of the younger pirates didn't move fast enough unless they had the Bo'Sun breathing down their necks. Speed was important, go too slow and the ship could sink or be caught by enemies. Everyone had to work fast and efficiant.
Then he noticed the two pirates rolling about. He sighed and walked over to dis-entangle them. "Come on you two!!!! The Captain has give his orders! You both need to get to your posts! Finally suceeds in getting the two apart. He may be skinny but he was pure muscle.

Jonik shook his head, now was definitely not the best time to tell him about the weird occurances in the cargo hold. He didn't want word to get around, since your average pirate was a supersticious soul and might think they were destined for bad luck.
"No it's nothing, sir." he said finally "I just think this voyage could be really sucessful this time."

Macy had been glancing around, trying to stop his daughter from discarding her rattle whenever he took his hand away from hers, she succeeded once and he barely caught it before it went sailing at someone's head, he glanced down at her and raised an eyebrow, silently scolding his hyper-active child.
"look Esti, it's daddy" Macy said, pointing to his waving partner, to try and distract his daughter from causing any more trouble. Darn pirate child. Estelle gave a happy squeal and wiggled around in his arm's rattle being hit against Macy a few good times, luckily it wasn't with intent. Macy decided that if he couldn't calm Estelle down, maybe her seeing her father would do it, and so he walked over to Caspian, looking a little annoyed and weary.
"your daughter is the devil, she has your energy" he commented quietly, running a hand through his hair, as he shifted to hold Estelle more securely in one arm. He looked down to the babbling baby, who had her gaze set on Caspian. "Da~!!" she squealed happily, swinging her rattle around again, repeatedly hitting Macy on the chest. Macy looked down to her and smiled, an adorable devil if that.

Caspian grinned happily down at the young elf at his side. "If you say so Jonik, I trust your judgement as always.." he smiled happily and patted the young ones shoulder again.. "I think you might well have a point ther emy friend though... as you see, I firmly believe that with your wonderful brains, and my superior looks, we could most definately take over the world together... yes.." he looked rather satisfied for a moment, his hand on his quatermasters shoulder, the other on the ships rail still... "Yes Jonik.. its going to be a wonderful voyage..." Caspian nodded once more, before his attention was momentarrily stolen by his groucy partner, and their darling little devil of a daughter... "Well hello there! If it isnt my two favourite people.." He stated with a grin, reaching out and stealing his daughter, one way or another, from the arms of her mother. He dangled her in the air above his head for a moment, before chuckling and tucking her into his arm. "Look! Its your big brother Jonik, star!" He stated, using the translation of her name for no apparent reason.. "Say hello him! Its Joooonik!" he smiled at his child.. he liked kids.

Kastor was... well... quite frankly he didnt really think he could have been much more miserable and down hearted if he'd tried.. He knew what he'd seen at the ball.. yes, that was true.. but then again Zaelia was telling him things that did everything to confirm what his eyes had begged him to believe to be a lie.. Was it possible that Zubi was really seeing the Bo'Sun now..? He'd never thought it likely to happen.. but then again he'd thought that Zuberai was as fixed in his love on him.. as he was on Zubi.. as far as he felt they were meant to be together.. there had never been another in his almost 600 years of life that had made his heart sing and his soul yearn like Zubi did. And now.. when he had finally found himself near the other elfe again.. this news.. this horrible news... Zaelia haddnt said they were together.. but he'd asked her what she had seen.. and he knew Zubi really wasnt the type to give himself away to just anyone.. that wasnt in his nature.. at least it haddnt been when he'd known him well.. and no.. he wouldnt change that much. Not Zubi.. no.. The tatoo'd elf leant againt the wall in his brothers cabin and sighed.
Zaelia had been alking to Kastor in the time they had been aboard, not long.. but the questions he had asked her had been simple enough for her to answer... how Kastor read into things was down to him, it wasnt her place to make sure things were understood right, and honestly.. she wasnt that interested, she was mainly just a tad annoyed with him for not letting her go straight after Bayne again.. she liked her twitchy pirate man.

Macy quietly let Caspian take Estelle from him and stood back, simply watching the two with a small smile on his face. He was just trying to wake himself up and wished he'd had enough common sense to bring along some of that...red bull stuff Nishi let him drink, it always woke him up. He felt tempted to talk or something, but seriously couldn't find anything to say at that particular moment.
Estelle squealed and giggled in delight at being lifted so high. She reached out her small arms and made grabby hands at daddy, giggling and smiling. "Da!!" she cooed happily, before her attention was grabbed by daddy's Jonik person. She giggled and blinked at Jonik, looking curious. "uuua~?" Macy let a small laugh leave him, amused at Estelle's confusion over who the hell daddy was talking about.

The pilot jumped at the oppertunity of escape that the Bo'Sun presented him, and windmilled all the more, "Bo'Sun! He's.." He gasped, "Killing me.. Pain!" He grimaced, his stomach really was beginning to ache truthfully. A burning stabbing sort of ache an ache that he was going to be more than happy to share with the gunner when presented with the chance and was equally relieved when Raguel forcefully pulled him out of Baynes grasp. "Uuuuuughhh.." He bent over slightly, holding his bruised stomach.
The gunner on the other hand went sheet white, or a white as one can get sheets when out at sea. "No! Wait! I told.. I-I told Zae I'd bring him back!" He wailed looking like he wanted to whimper as well, "If I don't show her she won't believe me!"
