The Whsipers's Prince strolled through the lands. His paws leaving their mark on the ground as he crossed the terrain. His wings kept slightly close to his sides as he made his way to no where in particular. He was a wanderer, but he always came home when he wanted or needed to. His brother had currently found a mate and he was happy for him. The Blue Angel was just here coping with his "loss" of his best friend. Pretty soon his sister would leave and he would stay at home with his parents. Halo sighed gently. Neo had grown up so fast, it seemed mind boggling. His tail flicked in thought, not really noticing anything else around him.

Songstress trotted away from her Father's Pride, singing softly to herself. PyreDancer had gone off wandering- AGAIN- without telling anyone... Casalure had been here and there, wandering, visiting every now and again.. Something weighed heavily on his mind, and therefore troubled his sisters... PyreDancer had sworn she would lift Casalure's spritis...
And thus the youngest of the first Pyrefly litter was left wandering alone... Again...
Tessa sighed and shook her head, picking up to an easy lope as she sang to herself.
"I know that you're hiding things.. Using gentle words to shelter me... Your words were like a dream.. But dreams could never fool me.. Not that easily..."

His ears perked slightly, knocking him from his trance. That singing...it was as if a Goddess were speaking. Taking to the air, he flew to where he thought he heard the voice. Landing in a tree, he looked about and saw the source not too far off. The lioness as as beautiful as her voice...yet it sounded to sad. So broken...Immediately, he wanted to go over and comfort her. Steal her pain away so he could bear it. So she could be happy...
Shaking the thoughts from his head, the Blue Angel remaind in the tree not wanting to scare her. Yet, his eyes never left her form as she loped. Gods she was beautiful...

Songstress slowed to a walk, moving through the grass as though she were dancing rather than walking... The wing-markings on her back glowed brightly for a moment, like they did when she sang, and she smiled... Sometimes it felt like the music could give her the wings that marked her back... Give her the right to fly like she so longed to do.. To fly away from here...
But her grief and loneliness weighed her down.. Made her unable to soar... She bowed her head and sighed, pacing on slowly.
"Save your tears, 'cause I'll come back, I could hear that you whispered as you walked through that door.. But still I swore, to hide the pain while I turned back the pages..."
Her singing trailed off as she sensed someone nearby, and she froze, searching the lands around her with paniced eyes... Who was out there?

She was so beautiful! Her markings just acuted her beauty by so many folds! And the wings...oh how he longed for them to be real. So he could fly with her...He could show her a different world. However, the beautiful singing stopped as she looked about. Apparently, he had been caught. Clearing his throat. Halo jumped to the ground from his perch. "M'lady," He said slowly. "I am sorry to have disturbed you. Your singing lured me here, and I could not help but listen. I am terribly sorry." He gave her a deep bow of respect and apology.
Lifting his head, he stared into her eyes. "If, perhaps, you do not mind, could you possible give a fallen angel another song? I would love to hear your voice. It must be from the Goddess herself..."

Songstress smiled and blushed, glad it was a kind lion rather than someone meaning her harm.. Someone like, she ducked her head and tried not to think of him... Gazing through her bangs at him, she gave one of her shy smiles. He had a very handsome face... And those wings! What glorious things, they sprouted off his back in feathery waves of soft silver and the palest blue, stars how she wished she could fly!
And as he flattered her she blushed more. Surely her voice wasn't that wonderful.. And her singing was... Not that good.. Not as good as a goddess...
"You are most kind, Lord of the Sky... But I am just a lioness, not a blessed one, not like you..." She looked at his wings again. "My voice is just mine, but if I could please you with a song, I would..."
She flushed, ducked her head, then began to sing the song she had started to herself, as he had already heard part of it.
"Shouting might have been the anser, what if I cried my eyes out and begged you not to depart? But now I'm not afraid to say, what's in my heart... 'Cause a thousand words, call out through the ages, will fly to you, even though I can't see.. I know they're reaching you, suspended on Silver Wings... A thousand words, one thousand embraces, will cradle you, making all of your lonely years seem far away... They'll hold you forever..."

Halo closed his eyes falling with the tune. His spirit seemed to lighten as well and his heart not so heavy. As she trailed off, he gave a wide grin. "Beautiful! Simply marvelous! If I were blind, I would have sworn you to be the Goddess herself." He smiled and gave her a deep bow. "This Angel is eternally greatful for the song. Please, do not think yourself blessed, for you are in voice, beauty, and spirit. Now, is there anything I could do for you, M'lady? I would like to re-pay you for your song you so willingly gave to me.."

Songstress flushed with pride at his flattery, smiling and ducking her head shyly. He was so kind to a stranger! He really did seem to like her music.. To enjoy her song... It made her smile wider, made her eyes dance happily. She usually wandered alone, but spending time with this male seemed like a wonderful idea...
"You are most kind, lord of the sky..." She grinned. "And in return for the song, all I would ask is your name... And perhaps your friendship?"
She wouldn't ask normally, but he was so charming... And so handsome... She ducked her head again, glad her mane fell into her hair and blocked her eyes, keeping her from staring at him too much.

"It would be my honor, and pleasure." He bowed to her deeply. "I am the Blue Angel & Prince of the Whispers in the Dark Pride, Halo. It is a pleasure to meet one such as yourself." He lifted his head and gently chuffed at her. "Now, tell me, what is the name of that which is a Goddess in mortal flesh?" His wings fluttered slightly, his eyes staring into her. She really had such a beautiful face, she needed to stop hiding it!

"Well met Prince of Whispers in the Dark..." Tessa smiled, momentarily bewitched by his eyes. "Halo... A name befitting an angel such as you, My Lord... I'm Songstress, Princess of Temple's Decorations... Usually just Tess to some, and Tessa to fewer still."
She shrugged and laughed softly. "You may call me what you will..."
She paced forward a few steps, then paused, trying not to get to close to him... Even though she wanted...

"Songstress..." The name fell from his tongue so smoothly, he practically purred. Stepping forward, he stopped a few paces infront of her, their breath touching if it was visible. "Fitting name for a Goddess..." My Goddess... The thought came and went through his head without a moment hesitation. Atleast he didn't say it outloud...Flicking his ears, he smiled at. "M'lady, would you honor me with a walk? We could talk, or you could sing to your heart's content and I will never get tired of listening." His eyes held sincerity and compassion for this Temple Lioness. He couldn't look away, even if he wanted to.

She smiled, eyes brightening. His voice danced down her spine and made her shiver... She ducked her head slightly, but her smile widened. "You are very kind Prince Halo, I would love to walk with you a while..."
Considering him, she wondered why he was out here all alone, but decided not to ask. If he had a lioness waiting for him, she didn't want to know... Not right now. Not when he was so facinating, so alluring... She wanted to step to his side, to feel his wing wrapping around her... To tuck her head against his chest and listen to his voice resonating... A blush stained her cheeks, but she still stared into his eys, unable to look away... 'I'd walk anywhere you wanted me too...' She thought to herself, glad she didn't speak aloud.

"Then, let's walk..." He said gently, stepping toward her. He passed her, letting his wings and side touch against her body. He suppressed the visible shiver down his spine at her touch. Not only was she a Goddess in voice, but in body as well. Just that simple touch set him on fire! Flicking his tail so it touched hers, his paws lightly touched the ground, his eyes slightly staring at nothing in particular. "Tell me something of yourself, Lady Songstress." You intrigue me so...

She smiled and slid into her smooth, flowing walk, moving slowly at his side. As he brushed his side and wing against her, she shivered, skin tingling. Unable to help herself she curled under his wing, brushing against his side again. She flicked her tail and considered his request.
"Well, I was born to Temple's Decorations, I have an older sister and brother... And two younger sisters, two younger brothers... I wander around the lands, sometimes with my sister, sometimes just by myself."
'I'm a loner, and falling for you faster than I can think...'
