Seraphim did not know why he was still down on the main part of the isle, it was much to warm and he couldn't find anyone to play with. All the while he kept thinking that it would be so much easier to find play toys if he was a teen or an adult like Junior or Yukio. This was so annoying.

Yali was enjoying her first day in the main part of the isle. She lived in the Lok Nei Forest, but she and her human guardian had decided to go camping. Now, while her guardian was setting up camp, Yali was happily exploring. Her stout little legs carried her across the ground as she looked around for someone to play with. Spying a purple male with bright orange hair about her age, Yali walked over with a cheerful, "Hi!"

"What do you want little girl? I don't have the time." He said, looking at the strange greenish pae. He had decided that girls did not make good play things, not at all. The only girl he had ever made a play thing out of dissapeared into thin air a few months back.

Yali blinked at the boy in surprise. "You're grumpy," she said, stating the obvious. "What's wrong?" Yali was a Pae'il who enjoyed helping others, and disliked people who weren't happy. In her eyes, there were much more for reasons for joy than for anger and sadness. Deciding to ignore the fact that the boy obviously didn't like her ver much, Yali stuck out her hand and said, "I'm Yali, nice to meet you."

"Well Yali, I reccomend that you take your hand away from me unless you want it broken." He said, he hated being purple so many nice pae thought he was one of them. "For a demon you're too nice." Seraphim had thought that all demons should be evil and con artist, not good pae. He was ashamed to admit he had such demons in his family.

It took very much to anger Yali...but this boy just took the cake. A predjudiced angel! Her human caretaker had warned her that there were some of this unfairness in the world, but she had never expected to come across it! She snapped her hand back, stuck it on her hips, and rampaged, "Oh, and I bet you think that I should torture little birdies for fun, or, or, laugh at people when they fall, or, or just be MEAN!" Yali stood, huffing, her fists clenched. She was so angry, that she could just scream!

"Actually yes, but those things are too easy and simplistic." He said, looking about hte ground for a dense stick. Bending down and picking the nearest one up he grinned slightly. "That's what a girl should be like, always angry. And when she isn't angry she should be cleaning and cooking with a baby in her stomach." He was trying to get her even more angry, maybe she would be fun after all.

Poor Yali, she was so predictable- she fell for the purple angel's jibs, and flew right into another rampage. "How DARE you?!" she screeched, "Girls are just as good as boys! We can do everything you can do, and better! We can ever do stuff boys can't do! I'd like to see YOU cook or clean!" This, time, Yali was so furious that she did scream. However, when she drew her breath and opened her mouth, no sound came out. Instead, all of her rage and fury erupted together from her mind, in a bomb of anger, headed straight for the angel's mind.
Her anger spent, Yali sat down in surprise, shaking. "What...was that?" she whispered, then turned towards the purple Pae'il. "D-did you hear that?"
(( Yali's ability let's her scream in people's minds, in case that was a little hard to understand. -sweat- I hope you don't mind that I used it. ))

Phim smiled, she was turning out to be fun after all. "And you don't think I can clean? Well Yali, you're dead wrong. I've been living on my own since I was born, there is more to it than you think." He said, he was still calm, though his voice was still getting louder. It wasn't something he meant to do. When she asked if he had heard that he laughed, "You can't control your power can you?"

Staring up in shock, all Yali could do was peep, "Oh." Now that explained a lot of thing! Growing up with nobody to take care of him, and having to fend for himself, no wonder he was so..so mean and rude! Now that there was a reason for his bad temperment, Yali actually felt sorry for the angel. "You know...if you wanted to, you could always stay my my place," she offered, more out of pity than actually wanting the boy's company.
She sighed at the angel's question. "What good is a power if you can't control it? All that comes out of it is pain for the ones near you," Yali spat bitterly.

Phim shook his head, she was feeling sorry for him. He just hadn't mentioned that he used his younger yet for some reason bigger brother as a slave since they were born. "You think I'd go to your dump because you pity the fact that I live on my own?" he started, voice growing louder still with each word. He couldn't entirely control his power yet either. "Well Yali, you got another thing coming!" his voice was now that of a screaming pae with normal powers, and not yet to his full power.
"A power uncontrolled is a power best trained."

Yali winced as the angel's volume continued increasing, until he was screaming at her. She was secretly glad that he rejected her offer. I mean, no wonder he lived alone.
Yali's eyes widened as she realized something. This angel was yelling her ears off, however, his face was still composed as if he were talking normally! Suddenly, it hit Yali. This was his power! Yali clenched her fists and looked down in shame. This boy couldn't be much older than herself, and he could already control his power, or at least somewhat. To make matters worse, he had probably learned how to use it on his own. "Thank you very much, Mr. Obvious," Yali answered, steel in her voice. She was so mad at herself! If this idiot could learn how to control his ability, why couldn't she? What was wrong with her?

Phim shook his head, grabbing her wrist. She was too much fun to leave alone. "You're coming with me." He said, pulling her back towards the mountains where he lived. "Try and fight it and you're toast, ya hear?!" his voice was very loud with this last statement, but not so much with the first, he was able to exicute a bit of control over his power, but not much.

Yali stumbled along in shock, not believing what was happening. She was being kidnapped! And by someone of her own size and age, to boot! Yali did not doubt that he would toast her, as he put it, if she tried to get away. Besides, chances were, he could probably outrun her, and that was assuming she could escape that horrid grip he had of her wrist. He squeezing so hard that it hurt, and the skin around her wrist was turning white. Yali realized that the only way to get out of this mess was to outsmart the wretched little angel. "H-how long is this going to take?" Yali asked, trying not to show her fear in her voice. "My caretaker will be looking for be soon."

Phim laughed, turning around and stopping, though he kept his grip on her wrist so she wouldn't get away. "It depends on how much fun you are." was his reply. She had already shown him that she was fun to play with, but he didn't know how quickly he would get bored of her. It could be a long time indeed. As quickly as he stopped he turned around, and took off again, getting bigger as he went. "Come on Shortie, it's not nice to make others wait..."
