As she watched the sun lower into a musky night, Loveless thought hard about what the Kalona Succubus was telling her about. Females apparently had some strange powers, and were able to be stronger then males. They were able to do something specific, and grab hold of a male's power. In her young age, she was still confused about some of the 'older' skills of females, but she enjoyed listening to her skillful discussion. Succubus was so strong, and Loveless was amazed at her ways.

Sniffing around for any signs of life, the filly lurked through the forest, remaining hidden from sight for some of the 'lesser' beings. There was no use talking to them anymore, and she hissed as she heard them babbling away. Such idiots, she couldn't stand listening to them. Because she was younger, many of them would approach her, thinking she was a 'cute' little thing. But, after making her presence known in front of a group of idiots, she made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with those wastes.

Oh, how she longed to be older. Youth was only important for awhile, and it helped her learn things about herself. But, she was sick of it already, and it was time to progress on and become an adult. She was ready, and every dawn that brought a new day, she would await for her body to grow more by the minute.

The forest was getting slightly darker, and it was becoming easier for her to blend in. She kept moving at a steady pace, only observing the area with her glowy eyes.

Sundown. The sky was a myriad of colours as it made it's descent, but when that golden orb made it's final dip under the touch of the horizon, shadows danced. As the sky above blackened, so did the landscape below, and the tree branches set shadows that amused themselves by dancing about each other in grave gaiety.
Through this revelry strode the figure of a Soquili, multiple wings set against his frame. He held more ornamentation beyond, a base creature's skull set in his own feathers masked his chest, gold weaved along his mane, and all along his grey form stood etchings in blood red and black.
Lucifer, once Son of Morning, strode through the beginnings of a long night.

He had passed time in this place longer than he cared to remember, and had as yet avoided it's inhabitants. He had chosen not to associate himself with the buzzing of them, the incessant and inane... happenings. Like the wings of flies they passed under his eyes, and he passed through their places without meeting their silly little minds.

Strange.. Loveless thought she picked up a scent, but it was different then any she had ever smelled before. It was so unfamiliar, and completely impressive as well. Was something around her? She thought she was hiding herself well enough. Hopefully it wouldn't pose to be a thread, she didn't smell Skinwalker.

She halted herself and looked around, feeling eerie at the sound of an upcoming movement. "Is someone out there?" She narrowed her eyes and glared, hoping it wasn't some idiot to bother her. She could usually handle herself just fine, but because the scent was so confusing to her, she was actually feeling a bit worried.

A part of her was also excited, especially if the figure proved itself to be worthy. She was always amused with meeting others, and she grinned at the louder hoofbeats.

The night was hardly frigid, the balmy nights of summer rolling around the corner, but it held a certain chill in the air, the cold kiss of night waiting. And with that wind whistling about Lucifer came a scent. That it was unknown to him was no surprise, he knew none of the others apparently of his kind. But youth's balm made it heady, for where there was youth there was innocence. And where there was innocence, Lucifer would soon come knocking.

As a malignant smile curled around the edges of the stallion's mouth, he drank in the odour of the stranger, tainting his voice with honey.
"Hello there?" he cooed, every note dripping with the sugar the many-winged equine lacquered on to words used to dangle fruit before the eyes of innocents.

A voice so cruel had spoken, and Loveless froze up. A figure almost bigger then her father appeared to the left of her, and she breathed in to try and contain herself. Who was this stallion? She demanded to know. With wings spouting on his body, and markings that were proven sinful, she gulped slightly, but stuck her shoulders out to hold her ground.

"Yes, we seem to have found each other." She looked up at him now, directly in the eyes. "Good evening to you." She grinned darkly, and swung her tail around to the side of her.

Her father had explained to her the importance of Sins, and she had only met Wrath out of the bunch. Was this male considered a Sin, then? He certainly looked as though he could play a part. Loveless only knew of her father's Sin of Pride the best, others did not fall into her knowledge base.

Young, so young. So unknowing.
The little stranger in front of him held some points of interest for the stallion's eyes, namely those webbed wings, those horns. So, not quite so innocent as he could wish? Some innocence there would be, however, even if only in the stupidity of youth. She would, at least, prove an interesting lesson in the ways of a race that held some interest in his eyes.

"Why hello there, little girl."
Lucifer made sure to keep those sugary notes in his voice, but allowed some of it's natural malice to creep through. Why waste a good performance on one tainted by nature? No. He would save the sonnet-bound lilting for one more able to meet his appetite for tainting minds himself.

The space between them was eerie, though Loveless tilted her head at his word choice. "Little girl, aye? Appearance shoudn't always prove one's stature of knowledge, stallion." She glared at him and hissed, though was careful to not show it as anything threatening. It was her way, naturally.

"And, what are you then? I can tell you hold true to some kind of power. I cannot deny that I am not impressed." Her glowy eyes went back towards the stallions, and she always felt chills down her spine when she looked at his eyes. Such intimidation, she wanted to have that. Or, she needed to have that. She would, someday. How though, she would need to learn.

Ah. So the little thing had some spunk? Or some arrogance. Oh, the possibilities! He could knock her down a few pegs. Fun, and it was true enough he had no morals that cried out against the idea of harming a foal. But such limited fun. No longevity. No return on the investment of effort.
No. He would encourage it. Puff her up. Allow her downfall to come at someone elses' hooves. It could be immensely enjoyable to watch the brat puff off her own consquence to fall prey to another's.

"So true, so true. And is your stature great? Or small? Or tiny, like your body?"
He may have decided to puff up her arrogance, but he was, after all, only mortal.

Beginning in a cicular pace around her person, he allowed the compliments on himself with a smile, his ego was fine without padding.

Ugh, the b*****d. Insulting her like that, especially when she didn't deserve that kind of treatment. "Fair enough." She said, as she watched him walk around her. "What do you want, stallion?" That seemed like a good question, since he was so mysterious to her anyways.

Her natural self was constantly angry, so she fumed with every step he took. How rude, mocking her already, and he didn't even know her. But, she tried hard to remain cool, and listen to what he had to say, first. "Am I that interesting to you?" With a playful glance, she looked at him as he stopped in front of her again. His wings were fantastic, and she watched them with delight.

What did he want? Nothing could be so simple, so deserved, so easy to answer.
"Everything," came the response to her first question.
With the word came a narrowing of the eyes, an accent on the syllables, a general enforcing of his presence on each letter as it passed his tongue. It was, after all, only the truth.

He returned to his circular trek around the filly so saying, allowing a smirk to snake his maw, judging it at it's most irritating.
With his own red ones he met those glowing eyes, though it required some lowering of their natural direction.
"And of course you are an interest to me, little girl, you're so very interesting!"

Had he been missing this with the peons? The frustration, the possibility, it was all so invigorating, so deliciously perfect.

Loveless, at this point, was just staring at him blankly. He must have really been a cocky one to be talking to her this way. "If you are going to continue to say nothing, then I should just leave." Her personality didn't allow her to just, wait for others. So, this stallion was awfully strange in her tastes.

"I at first was impressed with you, but now I am only looking at you as an insane idiot." She giggled, and smacked her tail on a rock playfully. "I am glad you see me as a mockery, it seems that is the only true opinion you are stating. But, you are annoying, so why should I stand here and waste my time?" Her attitude was purely from her father, that of being overly proud all the time.

Oh, she was a cocky little fool alright. But she was providing Lucifer with an entertainment he had not indulged in for some time, and he would not deprive himself of it willingly.
Her little spiel served to toy with his amusement further, to extricate from him a chortle quashed in the following speech.

"Why, and what would you have me say, little one? You indeed, have been as rude as I. No 'How are you?' or 'Who are you?' or anything I can be a perfect gentleman about.
And really, is an insane idiot a correct term? For, is not sanity needed to guage intellect? Or a certain intelligence needed to spawn insanity? Really, my little girl, we must be remembering to make sense. Or perhaps you are, yourself, the one of an impaired intellect? Not that I should suggest such a thing."
Here he smiled at his most infuriating, and bowed his head.
"I have manners to remember, after all."

....

Loveless was.. more shocked if anything, because when the stallion finally opened his mouth, he proved to be even more crazy then before. If she was going to play at his 'game' or whatever, she was going to have to keep her ears sharp, and keep up with his crazy thoughts.

"How are you, then?" She tilted her head, and inquired the question in about as a pollite voice as she could make. "It is a wonderful evening, isn't it?"

Completely unnatural, and yet, silly almost. But, she only wondered what reaction the stallion would have to her change of words.

Ahh, one of the pieces moved, a pawn. The style did not suit the filly, and rather bored her companion. He wanted to see a little more fire for his efforts. Still, he quirked a brow at the inane little comment, and nodded with all the false affability available.

Some response, perhaps, was needed, and one to get the best results possible.
"I, my dear, am bored."

Her comment about the evening he ignored, it was no more mild nor consequential than any other, save for having the opportunity to infuriate an arrogant foal into more arrogance yet. Now that could make an evening amusing.

Trying to hold on to the wacky situation, Loveless walked a bit to the side of the stallion. "Foals are boring though, doncha know?" She turned to give him a deadly gaze, in which one female Kalona explained to her would be beautiful when she was older. "Children are such funny little things."

She took a few strides back to her other position, and turned to face him once again. She was trying to practice being sneaky, but yet she knew she had no skill over this stallion. "Now, if you are bored, how can I help you with that stallion?" She flapped her wings playfully before putting them down comfortably. "I am not brilliant yet in talking, and I am not strong enough to be impressive. Then, what is there for me to do?" She looked at him, actually being confused this time. What could she do?!
