Summer days were approaching with vastness of fallen rains and heat as the large sea influenced stallion stared out endlessy at the rolling waves. He never strayed far from the tides idling as much as he could simply gazing upon the rolling waves flowing to and fro.

This particular day he decided to walk the shoreline within the foamy waves as they drifted in and out around his steadfast feet. As the sun shone downward it created a peaceful harmony that danced upon the mirror-like surface. The smells of the sand mixing with the aquagreen salty water were a paradise. Reflections, contemplations, and his soul lied within that which he always belived he was born. It was his world in those deep orbs, ever so beautiful it was shining in front of him. Not an illusen but reality that he breathed into those great lungs.

The sea mare had finally made her way back to the ocean that she so loved, long hair trailing and leaving the foamy bubbles that the waves were so fond of leaving behind in her wake. Not that it was noticeable the way she was skipping and jumping through the waves, splashing and laughing quite merrily as they rolled around her sand colored hooves.

"Oh ho! I got you now!" she called, chasing after a crab that was scuttling quickly across the shore in an attempt to, likely, find its breakfast. Asherah never hurt the creatures but it was fun to chase them about and was one of her favorite activities.

Before she got close enough, a wave swept it out to sea and she laughed, "Go home, little crab!" Ah, the sea was so wonderful. Giving, taking. Calm, angry, passionate and sombre. So much like her.

As the waves crashed upon his strong legs he smiled deepy to himself simply letting the ocean move him in a deliberent sway. Mind and body connected to the one thing he cherished more than anything in the entire world. A dazzling array of a picturesque setting filled with the movement, the poetry, the simple creation called life. He stepped inward more till the waves pushed agaist his flanks like a mother caressing her newborn child. There seemed to be a solem yet beautiful song that played with each sway the great body of water made.

Turning his head as his mane and tail carried outward like a vivid stream, he noticed someone along the shoreline from a distance. Like a wave that lapped upon the shore they moved like the sea herself. Standing more upright he focused with his deep eyes, noticing a mare that played and froliced like the substance around him. He swiveled his ears and awaited her arrival standing like a giant wave within the great ocean.

It didn't take long for Asherah to make it to Mizu the way she was frolicking, laughter floating about on the salty breeze like the melody of a siren. She very much could have been, the way she was carrying on with the sea as if she were a part of it.

So wrapped up in the beauty and passion of the sea, she didn't even notice the watery male - not that she would have to begin with. He was so quiet and he blended in with the swirling waters beautifully.

"Oooh! Fish! I'll get you little fishes!" she squealed happily, head dipping beneath the sea for a moment to watch a few fish that had been caught up in the waves scurry back out to sea.

He smirked in spite of himself watching effervencence flow in the form of a mare shaped like flowing motion around himself. Pausing his deep chest with a breath he awaited her head to reenter the air that lied above the surface. When sure that her ears could pick him from the rolling waves did he speak in a bold yet subdued tone.

"Greetings water maiden." he addressed her with deep eyes set upon a finely built face, "What brings you to her majesty's depths"?

Shaking his head he caught sight of a gull as it flew high above them, craning a high pitched call as it echoed over the rolling tide. Standing in the coolness of the frothy waves was one of the most relaxing things anyone could of partaken in.

Asherah popped back up, triumphantly. She hadn't caught the fish - she never did, couldn't bring herself to do so - but she had seen them scurry off into their home and back into the depths. The voice startled her, though, and her head quickly turned in Mizu's direction. "Oh, hello." A smile touched her face and she gave a low bow, crimped hair moving with the ebb of the waves, "It's my place."

The answer was simple enough. Asherah had always felt the Ocean was her place, her home. Always felt more content, happier, and generally more fulfilled when frolicking through the lapping waters of the majestic sea. "And you?"

He smiled raidiantly with a toss of his great mane letting it spring back upon his neck like a great wave. He still was quite in shock to see anyone around his home, a niche he's known all his life. Yet strangely he'd never seen but one other upon these certain shores.

"Funny you should say that for I've never seen you around here. I guess you could say its my place as well for I live up yonder in the caves facing the shoreline", he motioned with his head turned toward the outer reaches of the sea set plainly before it.

How he loved the grandness, the sheer elegance of the dancing water as it swayed in waltzes of harmony and emotion. Everything he knew and loved rested deep within this vast moving pool stretching for miles and miles.

He grinned and flicked his tail sending a spray upward, "I hope we'll not have to fight over something we both love. Will we?"

Finally someone to actually communicate with that understood the lucidity that the great Goddess ocean diety had granted them.

The sea-mare was absolutely enthralled by this stallion, for the moment. The fact that he seemed to understand the Ocean as well as she did, or at least loved it as much, made her face light up radiantly, "Of course not. The Mother Ocean has enough love to give to us all, does she not?" A dazzling laugh as his tail flicked the water upwards and she closed her eyes, feeling the spray against her face.

"Fighting over such beauty is a crime against beauty itself." Aqua eyes opened again and she looked up at him, lowering a wing down and sending spray his way in return. A little fun play-fight never hurt anyone, though, and it seemed as though Asherah was in quite the playful mood, ready to start a splash fight with this male.

Mizu grinned yet again for solace and living in the outskirts from the annoying herds could take a toll on one's gentle thriving soul.

"Well yes then we're in agreement upon that matter. For I believe the mother also created this vast wet playground for anyone if they know and respect her wishes well" he nodded with a strange glistening playful twinkle in his eye.

As the spray washed over him he smiled coyly back at her whiping his own tail. Sending back a frothy rain that cascaded down upon her.

Two could play at that game.

He ginned back as the sun danced upon his wet fur letting the strange designs upon is neck and back shimmer. He contemplated asking her of a name but held his tongue to simply discover the underlying eternal effervecence within his own self.

She wouldn't have told him her name anyway - some things were meant to be kept to ones self. A girl had to have some kind of mystery, didn't she? The mare laughed again and ducked under the waves, flopping back and sending both of her wings beneath the water to scoop and let fly toward him. Two could play that game, yes, but it only took one to raise the stakes! The gentle waves rolling back and forth carried her out part ways so she wasn't stranded on the sand bar and she flopped over again, hair trailing with her. However, her legs were tucked up under her and she had to smile.

"Have you ever let the waves carry you?" she called, a small distance away from him now. Oh, she always knew when she was too far out, but she trusted the sea to deposit her back to the safety of shore when it was time. So far, she'd not had any difficulties and the sea had yet to break her trust of it.

Such eternal happiness in this one as she played, yes played with him. What a grand thing to stop being an adult and simply melt back into the recesses of one's youth. Seeing that she herself was as bouncy as the waves, well she'd probally not tell him her name. Likewise he decided simply to be the loner and not parade information that wasn't needed to know.

For now they'd simply be two waves splashing one another. He rather liked that guise immensly.

Not realizing her firepower he was thrown back in the waves. Laughing heartily he regained his balance rearing upwards into the air only to let loose another wave upon her. He hadn't noticed she was further away now floating into the deeper pulling waves.

"Not really" he called out feeling the waves pulling him as well like gravity, "Never tried the paitience of the Goddess to see how far I'd go".

He wondered for a moment with the strength of the ocean, something stirring in his mind like a coming whirlpool.

Never turn your back upon the ocean, for though she is giving and loving she could take away as well. Ears swived toward her he followed after just for a precaution, and yet seemed oblivious in his expression letting her enjoy what she loved most.

The passion inside the mare for her beloved sea was overflowing every moment she was in it and her blue eyes were dancing just as the waves did, swirling about her legs as she drifted. The waves kept her in relatively the same spot, for now, and she could almost blend in with her surroundings with a little effort.

"You should trust in her," she said, using her wings to propel her closer to the stallion so she didn't have to shout over the gentle sounds of the sea that were far louder when one was as close as she was to the water, "She has never let me down."

Ah, her trust in the ocean, as foolish as it may be, was implicit. Nothing, save the sea's anger itself, could turn her away from that trust. She was the sea's daughter - and looked it, as well. Even if it was hard to see successfully while she was in it, Mizu would see it fine when and if she decided to descend upon the sandbar again.

He knew deep inside he was right, but sensibility and happiness were two different things. He found someone that was as wild as the ocean, much like himself, of course he'd never drive her away due to his own beliefs. It was simply a natural thing to tuck something far away as if in those great depths where the fish were swimming.

Speaking of fish one brushed his left flank which caused him to submerge id head in the water to see what passed by. He floated there like a pice of driftwood rocking gently back and forth. Colorful fish of an unknown race to him swam in large schools beneath his feet. The water was so crystal in appearence he could see for atleast a mile out into the sea herself.

Forgetting himself he brought his head back up breathing in the other lifeforce he so badly needed right now. Taking deep breaths he inhaled the salty air and refreshed his lungs.

"Trust in the sea" he murmered looking around, "Where had she gone?"

Then he remembered her ability to blend in with the waves themselves as he could. Like the shallow and the great depths they both were the Ocean mothers children of Eternity.

Ash giggled as she popped up right beside him, tilting her head to the side as the glistening water ran down her coat and through her hair - hints of the sea's foam sticking to the cerulean strands. "I'm right here," she answered, hearing his last murmured words. There was laughter in those bright eyes of hers, as well as a hint of mischief.

"And you really should trust in the sea." The last was tossed his way as she paddled herself back to the shore and, once her feet hit the sand, she rose from it like royalty descending to the throne. Long, ever-moist hair flowing behind her like a robe. Her head turned to look at him and she shot him a smile, "But even the Sea's children need breaks from her at times."

The smell of the salt along with the vibrance of the ocean revived a youth within the stallion he'd never contemplate possibly. It was as if the ocean had turned back time to the first days he stepped upon the shining shoreline. His first incredible breath of the aroma, as his little hooves sunk inward toward the wet sand that swallowed around his feet. A flick of a tail, the sheer freedom to run and feel contentment. Passion. Grace. Love that lied within the mother that had accepted him as her own.

Springing out of the ocean like a great wave near the shore he leapt outward like a phantom, landing gracefully upon the sand that craddled his hooves near Ash. Upon his face he carried a proudness, a renewed joy that had escaped him momentarily for a while. Muscles rippling upon his sleek form, his mane whiping around him in shining strands.

Turning to look at her he nodded with a soft expression, " She is giving with escence and love, but even I yern toward the bright orb in the sky to renew my strength and thoughts. I suppose those are my parents in escence to my lifetime."

For all the stallion dressed in trappings of her majesty's tale had ever known was the breath the great diety of the sea had given him.
