Any good member of Cruxis remembers 1001 Ways to Annoy Lord Yggdrassil. So, I decided to branch off from that. Discuss:
-Words that sound similar to Tales words -Words that can be altered slightly to have a funny spin -Things of this nature.

My random knowledge corner:
Yggdrasill- from Norse mythology
Kratos- lesser god of war
Zelos- lesser god of love
((I don't think that they are lesser, but that's the way they are described in mythology.))

Most of them are from Norse mythology. However, what does Yggdrassil mean? Just curious.

Yggdrasil means "world tree".
Didn't you ever study Norse Mythology? Three Goddesses: Veranthi, Skuld, and Urd guarded the different roots, symbolizing different passages of time. The roots of Yggdrasil branched out across the universe and linked all worlds.
You don't think that I've based the RP on just my imagination, did you?

I'm still in seventh grade...
Lemme get over the Greeks first. xD
I knew that ToS and ToHS were based on Norse myths, but only from other people.

However, Kratos and Zelos are from Greek mythology. As for studying it, I've read a few things, but I haven't taken it as a formal course. I might, though.

The origin of the word Efreet is Ifrit, or Afrit. It's actually Arabic, and comes from a passage in the Qur'an. Interesting, huh?? But in Tales Efreet the summon spirit isn't connected to the same Ifrit in the Qur'an...but the origin of the word is interesting!
HOWEVER....I find this a coincidence, that It's a Qur'anic passage where King Solomon asks various creatures who can bring the throne of the Queen of Sheba to him fastest.
Gotta love Wikipedia

What I really like about most of these names in RPG's is that a lot of them are used in a large variety of games. In Baten Kaitos there are words for magnus that are also used on TOS and vise versa, it's pretty cool.
