Quote:
Name: Zeon Taylor
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Pokemon: Growlithe
Starting Stage: Human
Physical Description if Starting Human: 5'5"-ish, 120lbs? He's still growing, though definitely not very muscular or 'big'; he's actually kinda lanky. He has shortish brown hair with one chunk of bangs on the left side, which he has dyed purple. Definitely the t-shirt and comfortable pants kind of kid. Also wears a black cloth wristband on his left wrist, and two blue plastic bracelets on the right.
Personality: Acts tougher than he actually is; he's really just a boy. A young one, at that. This shows through especially when he's upset or afraid, though he does try to keep the facade up at other times. He's fairly nice, just not outwardly sociable; it's in part due to being on his own for so long, he's just not used to it. Instinctive and spontaneous, he can have a bit of a temper; and if he feels threatened or challenged, he will occasionally show a slight aggressive streak. Not the type to go picking fights without a reason, though.
He likes exploring, especially abandoned places- old ruins, old buildings, decrepit and rusting; these are his favorite places to wander. Not always the safest, but with his growlithe by his side, he rarely worried. He liked the feeling of history they held, and even more than that, he liked the fact that he had somewhere he could go hide away from the world and be by himself. He's also a bit prone to stirring up trouble, especially if he's feeling frustrated or agitated himself. Nothing better to get rid of a bad mood than by making someone else feel the same way! He has a slight destructive streak, not very prevalent at first, but the more frustrated and upset he gets (and the longer he's stuck at CRONUS) the more it will show- he'll take commonplace things, doorhandles, frames, anything that can be taken apart or unscrewed, and start dismantling them, leaving the pieces for someone to find and try to put back together. It's technically not breaking anything, just deconstructing it to its component pieces- this is still incredibly obnoxious for whoever has to deal with it, though. It's one way he 'gets back' at those who he's frustrated with.
He has an mp3 player that he carries with him, and in typical teenage boy fashion, will crank up the volume to drown out the voices of those getting on his nerves. He'll also occasionally recite lyrics as he listens to them, if they seem appropriate to the circumstance; this especially applies to angry lyrics if he's dealing with someone he dislikes. XD;;; If he feels it relates to something he'd like to say, he'll say it. This can be a bit confusing for others if they don't realize the source of it, and will occasionally leave him coming across as rather cryptic, especially when he's upset.
He's also extraordinarily close to his Growlithe, Tyke, considering him the best friend he's got.
History: As a 'trainer', he's been out on his own for quite some time now- though not just because he's on a 'trainer's journey'. For whatever reason, he's lost touch with any family or guardians he may have had; he's truly on his own. He's spent the time exploring moreso than actively pursuing being a trainer; he really doesn't care to catch wild pokemon and battle them. The one pokemon he does have is a Growlithe that he raised from an egg, and that's all he needs- the two of them are extremely close, and the pokemon is the only constant companion he's had while he's been out on his own. They've been eachother's emotional support, company, and protection, and would do anything for the other- human and pokemon alike.
Strengths: Determined once he sets his mind to it, and fairly clever; willing to make several attempts at something instead of immediately giving up, even if he doesn't succeed. Though some of his reactions may seem rash, he's perfectly capable of sitting down and thinking his way through something. Fairly good at bluffing.
Weaknesses: Definite strong fear of needles / other really sharp things, enough to make him drop his 'tough guy' act immediately. XD; He's also prone to sulking/being unresponsive at times if things don't go his way, in typical teenage boy fashion. It's just that age. Despite how tough he tries to seem, he's actually very emotional, and not above crying.
Also, when upset or agitated, he can have quite the foul-mouth. XD;;;
Future Plans for Character or Any Extra Info:
Since pokemon and their trainers are separated beforehand or upon arrival to CRONUS, he is going to take the loss of his beloved growlithe very hard. He cares about the pokemon just as much as he cares about himself, and he won't stop thinking of some way to find him, or to get him back. He doesn't know what's happened, but he's determined there has to be a way to locate and rescue him; he won't give up on this matter. If he has to search the whole damned island, he'll do it, and pity anyone who gets in his way... at least, this is how he feels. Obviously, he'll be most upset when he first arrives, once it becomes apparent his pokemon is nowhere to be found. The thought will never leave his mind, but he may possibly become less frustrated and anxious over time, at least until...
The changes will have not only a physical affect on him, but a mental/emotional kind as well. The fact that he's turning into the same kind of pokemon as his beloved friend will trigger several things- guilt, a constant reminder of his friend who he hasn't been able to rescue yet, and stronger resolve to never give up until he's found. On some level, he'll also be intrigued and interested by this change; if you have to change into a pokemon, a firedog-type isn't a bad thing. He might consider himself a bit of a 'were-growlithe' of sorts, at least in reference to himself. As he transforms, he'll come to rely even more on his instinctive and spontaneous nature, and his fits of aggression (now directed towards his captors) may become more pronounced. He'll also become a bit more destructive, possibly starting to chew things apart as well as dismantle them, in a puppy-like fashion.
(An idea I'm toying with later on, though I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it- he may wind up so distraught over the loss of his growlithe, that he may temporarily develop an 'alter ego' relating to his new form. He may consider it to be an 'aspect of his friend', a way of remembering him, or it may just be because he's so upset about his once-constant companion not being around anymore. Either way. Not sure on this; I have to see where the character goes.)

~I'm looking at you through the glass, don't know how much time has passed; all I know is that it feels like forever, but no one ever tells you that forever feels like home, sitting all alone inside your head...~
((Teigra: I know you're still working on your concept, but just from what you have so far, your concept is far beyond acceptable. *LOL* Personally, I can't wait to see him on the island. Samantha's a real music lover, so she's probably one of the few that might understand him when he starts quoting song lyrics. Those two will have to meet up at some point. ~__^
EDIT: Welcome to the island... <3 ))
