This is Mikae. She is a Celestial [cosplay] Maneki Neko, who was recieved by her guardian, Yukiko on June 2nd, 2007.
She's very cheerful and tends to have a pleasant outlook towards everyone--even the mean-spirited Yami [whom she excuses as 'grumpy' and 'needing a hug'].
She loves milk and honey [sometimes together, most times separate] and has an affinity for pouncing on people.
On that note, she seems rather hyper-active, period--but that could be due to the fact that until recently she was trapped in a statue and is just excited and working off excess energy...so, she'll calm down eventually.
Unlikely, though...She'll probably mature some as she gets older.

About the Guardian: Yukiko Gemini, who prefers to be called 'Yuki' or 'Ko', is generally laid back and mildly sarcastic. He can also be very affectionate at times, however, especially in the case of his pets.
He has short, messy dark hair and mildly tanned skin, has grey eyes, and stands at about 5'9".
His age is unknown, and if asked he will simply smile and arch a brow in response.
About the face behind the Guardian: Hello! I play the characters Mikae and Yukiko. Unlike Yukiko, I'm actually female.
Wonder who saw that one coming, eh?
If you want to refer to me as he, though, I don't mind--I answer to both. ^^
I'm fifteen, but I'm turning sixteen in November.
I'm a rising sophomore, considering I completed my first year in highschool today, June 6th, 2007.
I like music and literature, and love to draw.~

No actual RPs have taken place yet, but there has bit a little one-liner fun in the event thread.
June 7th-June 10th~>The one-liners evolved into a good little para-rp between her and Orca, who seems to almost have a crush on her, and she kind likes him. Potential mates in the future? We'll have to see. <3
So far she has met Rai, Yami, Orca, and Oki. :3

Hi! My names Mikae but you can call me whatever you want as long as its not mean or anything. Orca calls me fuzzball for some reason but thats okay I dont mind cause hes really nice when hes not being mean.
Hes way to serius i think but hey thats okay. He needs to be a little happier I think. I wonder if I can help with that. Maybe he just needs more hugs.
Yuki has been trying to teach me how to write but its kind of difficult so Ive been typing instead, which is easier cause i dont have to use a pencil or a pen.
pens suck because they alwaysget ink on my fur so I like typing a lot more even if i forget stuff alot like big letters and those dots and stuff.
Yuki calls them punkchooayshun which is prolly not how you spell it but I dont want to ask. I dont get it except for periods. Periods end the stuff you say and you always make a big letter after a period and sometimes you make i a big letter but Im still trynig to figure out when so i can write better.
Yuki offered to read over or type for me but I said i could do it all by myself so its prolly really hard to understand but yuki says thats okay because its my jurnal and no one else needs to get it.
Yuki's blurb:
This was shockingly hard to write, because bad grammar and punctuation isn't really something I care to keep up. I had to go back and pseudo-correct myself.
In any case, this is the first post I've finally gotten around to writing and eventually she'll get more literate and less spastic...Not much less spastic, though.
