Intro • Rules • Characters • Timeline • Community  A plane crash strands the surviving passengers of Oceanic Flight 815 on a seemingly deserted tropical island, forcing the group of strangers to work together to stay alive. There, they must negotiate an unknown monster, wild boars, an unpredictable group of prior occupants, each other, and polar bears as they try to survive and attract rescue. Will they see rescue and if so, who will live long enough to see it?

Jack Shepard slowly opened his eyes. He found himself surrounded by bamboo as well as other various tropical plants on the outskirts of a jungle. He closed his eyes. This can't be happening. No, no...not this. He reopened his eyes and found himself still laying on the floor of the jungle. He shouted out loud in rage. Jack wiped away the blood away from under his nose and then sighed. He took a deep breath and then with great effort, struggled onto his feet.

Nikki brushed back her hair and stood in disbelief. She fearfully watched survivors roam around through the wreckage, which once was a plane. Her eyes spot one of her bags under a heap of scrap metal. She heads toward the scrap metal and begins to push it but, cannot. She wipes away the sweat from her forehead and begins again. The scrap metal creaks for a second but, still does not budge. She shakes her head, I'd better find Paulo first.

Ethan picked himself up off the ground and witnessed the chaos of the wreck. People everywhere screaming and running, many he saw were dead, others injured. He stood staring for a minute or so. He finaly came to his senses, thinking he should help who he could. He found his way to Nikki, jumping over scraps of metal, "Are you okay?" he asked, "you need to get away from the wreckage, something could fall."

Claire woke up to the sounds of people screaming and crying. She sat up, her pregnant belly causing a problem for getting up. Tears trickled down her face as she saw things up in flames, people yelling, dead bodies... She finally stood up, after some trouble. She felt weak, and helpless, and soon fell uncontrollably into the sand.

Jack began to run, through the jungle and onto the beach. Once there, he stopped. He heard people scream and cry, the beach was in chaos. He slowly walked through the wreckage. He saw a young pregnant woman in distress and went over to help. On his way, he stopped, seeing several dead bodies. He shook his head and continued to the young pregnant woman.

Kate blinks once, twice, three times before she came to her senses fully. All she could see was a mass of greenery, swamping her on her resting place. As she struggled to sit up, the handcuff still chained to her hand clinked softly, and looking down, the realisation of what had just happened hit her.
