Keirro

Today was cleaning day. Keirro usually kept her place meticulous, but with Ranis in her life she now had to content with a messy Infant. Usually, the baby was very well behaved, except around strangers. The baby wasn't even that messy. It still had to learn about holding its drool in, but Keirro could easily clean that up with little effort.
"You've been so good today, Ranis." said Keirro as she picked up a picture book.

Ranis beamed with pride as is guardian smiled at him. He loved making her happy, as long as no strangers were nearby. Ranis then picked up a farmiliar scent coming closer to the house. For some reason, the word "bacon" came into the infant's mind.

Silver was wondering around, and would stop every now and then looked down at the card. Hmmm, the place was around here somewhere. Looking up, he nodded, and walked up the drive. Stopping at the door, he knocked briefly, standing on the stoop and fidgitting

Keirro attention quickly turned from Ranis to the door. She promptly dashed across the livingroom to open the door. When she opened the door she nearly screamed at the sight of a seven foot tall Fa'e. She then remembered that this was the lad who she spoke with earlier at the Fa'e HQ. Keirro was certain that they spoke on the phone, but she couldn't quite remember.
"Oh, come in, Silver." said Keirro as she welcomed the young man in.

A large smile came across the infant's face when he saw Silver.
"Rawr!" the infant playfully growled and flung his hands into the air. It's was that guy who growled with him! Awesome!

Smiling, Silver nodded a little, stopping just inside the door to kneel and unlace his boots, slipping them off and setting them off to one side. Standing again, he looked around. "Thanks for having me over. I remember you said that you wanted to talk to some of the fa'e about some things in your field." Look at up at the rawr, he chuckled, and waved to Ranis, giving a little growl back at him.

"Figured I'd call you to see if you had time to talk. I don't do much during the days anymore, so i'd see if I couldn't help you out in your curiousity. Plus, I'm always glad to have someone to talk to. And this little monster." he reached down and patted Ranis "Is always amusing. Arnt you?" he looked down at ranis, playfully nudging him with one toe, being very careful of the nails on his feet.

Keirro smiled at the wolf Fa'e and the Cub Illusionary.
"I'm glad you like him. I've had trouble with him from time to time."
said Keirro. Keirro was relieved to have an adult conversation without the usual growling, hissing, or biting that had become associated with it.

"Since you're so egar, I'll jump to the point. I'm very interested in the pshycological health of the Fa'e, considering the traumatic circumstances that seem to follow your kind. The Fa'e are born from something else, they develop rapidly, and throw in your powers. The pshycological cocktail could prove to be destructive." said Keirro as she poured a glass of lemonade for Silver. Keirro looked at Ranis. Come to think of it, Ranis was developing at a rapid pace as were other Illusionary she knew of. It made her study rather personal.

Ranis gave a playful growl as he grabbed for Silver's toe and started to gnaw on the foot. Luckily for Silver, Ranis wasn't growing his teeth yet.

Silver gave a bitter laugh, and shook his head. "Miss, you have no idea how much of an understatement that is. We've had one suicide. One attempted suicide. And an entire slew of other things. And thats just as a group as a whole." He'll look around, and raise an eyebrow playfully. "So, have a couch big enough for me to lay down on?"

Reaching down, he'll scoop up Ranis in his arms, and tickle him a bit with the very tips of his claws, being very, very careful. This one reminded him of when he was young. He gave a bit of a sad smile, remembering when things where so much easier, and hoped that life was a bit easier for this little feral child.

It was worse than she thought. God, where to even begin? Perhaps it was best to take things in one at a time, but it wasn't just the Fa'e who grew at fast paces. Keirro motioned towards a medium sized couch to the right of her. Large guests weren't the norm in her home.
She couldn't help but smile when she watched Ranis get scooped up by Silver. She was certain that , if given the chance, Silver would spoil that child rotten.
"Tell me your thoughts on the matter." she replied.

Ranis laughed and giggled as Silver picked him up. The cub looked up at Silver and flashed a wily smile at the Fa'e. Ranis then started to gnaw and crawl all over Silver, as if the large Fa'e was his personal jungle gym.

Silver, used to this sort of use from darrons 2 children, just sat down as the child climbed on him. "My thoughts on it. I dunno. I'm the defacto guardian of the fa'e. So i've been through some interesting things. I've been to hell. I've killed, had people try to kill me, and i carry the scars, physical, mental, and on my soul."

He'll look down at his hands, at his claws, and shrug. "I've done what i've had to to survive, and to keep my friends as safe as I can. I first killed a man when I was just a kid. Balanced within me is a, a feral beast, one that holds a great anger. If it breaks loose, I loose control. So i always have to consider how he will react as well as how i will react to something...."

Keirro tried to form a quick summary of Silver in her mind. He was physically suitable for being a bodyguard and had the mentality for it as well. He was not outwardly violent, but was prone to violent fits very much like Ranis. Keirro tried to keep Ranis out of her mind and focus on the interaction between doctor and patient. Not only that, but she had to fight the urge to make this session about the Fa'e as a whole and not just Silver.
But was that really the right thing to do? Silver was the one who came to her, not the entire Fa'e group.
"How do you percieve yourself, other than a guardian?
PostPosted: Sun Jun 03, 2007 6:11 pm

"Hmmmm. I'm a complicated package with a simple exterior. I own my own business and land, and work at my club, more to keep busy then to save money. I like working as a dj. Lately i've had trouble with it though, just cause i'm not comfortable with the fangirls i get. A lot of my actions have been based around the fact that I heal at an extrodinary rate."

To show his point, he drew a knife out of a hidden sheath under the leather bracer he was wearing, and cut the palm of his hand, holding it out to show how the wound started to knit closed and scab over, doing weeks of healing in minutes. "I tend to take risks, especially where physical danger is concerned, because I am built to take damage. I've been shot, stabbed, thrown off heights and more. But at the same time, if you use the right things, I quickly fall down and won't get back up. Add in the fact that unlike a lot of the other fae i don't blend in well. A girl with wings, a unicorn boy, these things stand out, but they don't look like predetors. I've been answered with a shotgun to the face when I walked into a liquor store to buy a bottle of scotch, and even been shot once. So I carry a bit of a chip on my shoulder where most normal looking people are concerend."

Keirro nodded. It was suprising to hear such a sensitive side to Silver. He also seemed quite self concious and that was to be expected when considering the obvious physical features. The boy somehow manged to get himself into quite a bit of touble, though. Keirro was rather curious about the fact that Ranis warmed up to easily to Silver. Not that Keirro was complaining, but watching someone interact with Silver on such a friendly basis gave Keirro a chance to dive deeper into Silver's opinion of himself.
"Ranis doesn't seem to fear you at all, even though he is a baby. Why do you suppose that is?" Keirro asked.

On hearing his name, Ranis gave an excited bark and then reached for Silver's ears. He inched his way closer and then finally started to tug at the Fa'e's ears with his mouth.

"Because we both have a bit of the wild in us" Silver will gesture to his hears, then to Ranis's. "From the look of things, he's going to have quite a wild streak. I've been there, and I know how it is. I just find it easier to relate to people that feel the pul of the wild sometimes. There are weeks where I spend all my time in my wolf form, out in the woods and mountains."

He'll wiggle his ears, as if to urge Ranis on, chuckling a little at the tugging on his ears. He carefully leaned back so that ranis could support himself against the back of the couch, and watched Keirro, wondering what she was getting out of all of this. Even he didn't understand himself completely anymore. Then again, maybe this could help some.

"He's a wild thing, all right." said Keirro as she handed Silver the glass of Lemonade she had poured for him earlier. The compaired the Illusionary and the Fa'e. How curious that this man connected so easily with nature and yet, was able to connect with an urban society. Nature had a society, but it was one a very simplistic one involving a predatory hierachy.
"You are very adaptable. So, where do you live now?"she asked.

Ranis noticed Silver's eye patch. He climbed over to the patch and started to finger the strange object. He got a feeling that it was from something bad and started to whimper slightly.

I've got a cabin on a cliff overlooking the sea, or if i'm to tired after work I have an apartment under the club that I can stay at. Technically i also have my fathers house, but there are just too many memories there for me. And yeah, I adapt. Because its either adapt or die. And as hellish as this life is sometime, I like being alive."

"Na little one, don't worry. There ain't nothing wrong with my eye. It just looks a little strange so I keep it covered." He pulled off the eyepatch, showing the orb of silver behind the eyepatch, the iris made out of powdered sapphires so that it matched his other eye. There was a slight scar over the eye, though not much of one.

The eye took Keirro a little by suprise. It was quite lovely to look at, but Keirro was always a fan of the color Blue. She focused her attention back to her patient's input. Hmm, inconsistency seemed to be a common theme in the Fa'e life.
"Describe a routine week for you. Is there anything that you consistently do?" she asked.

Ranis, like his guardian, was mesmerized by the eye and wanted to touch it. He reached for Silver's eye and harmlessly poked it.
"Bah!" he laughed.
