Did you know that there are more stars out there then there EVERY grand of sad ON EVERY BEACH in the whole wide world...One hand full of sand has like 1mill grands of sand in it. Now think about what the WHOLE beach has. Let alone the whole world...Thats alot of stars... Stars are ..wow. I love them. I watch them. I wonder why its all up there. >.> <.< Its so weird.

Hmm, well if you believe the universe is infinite, there kind of has to be really...
Still, a pretty awesome fact! Gives you some perspective on the enormity of it all...

Something else I find interesting: If our solar system (8 billion miles in diameter) was scaled down to a 5mm disk, the first star we would come to (on the same scale) would be 6km away.

Our galaxy itself has 100 Billion stars
And there's millions upon millions of galaxies.
So yeah smile
AND, for each of those stars, there's usually plenty of planets orbitting around them. So that's quadrillions of potential spots for alien life, or something else beyond human pondering (so far).
Makes you feel insignificant, doesn't it? wink
