Contrary to what she was colored after, Theia was not a morning person. She slept late, usually until the first hours of the afternoon when the sun was just too bright for the little flutter to be shielded from any longer. The winged Soquili peeked out from the flower she had housed herself in for the moment and sneezed at the pollen that was clinging to her nose. It sent her flying back and tumbling out of the flower, down to the ground with a little thud. She had been too surprised to remember she had wings to aid those painful falls from high up.
"Hmph!" she muttered, standing up shakily onto her four legs and giving a wiggle to dust herself off. Tiny wings twitched and she began to flutter herself up to the flower again, humming to herself. Food was good and it seemed the flower she had chosen was a good breakfast as well.

Ghost on the otherhand enjoyed going to sleep early, and waking up early! She pounced around the flowered area, full of her normal energy. Her mind was wandering off somewhere, which was not a suprise. The night before she had dreamed of a wonderful princess who was in distress, and that a price had so beautifully saved her. What a lovely dream, she wished she could re-dream it again.
It almost sounded like the conflict she had with Hesperos (her own little crush), when she almost drowned in the ocean! Maybe it was a sign of her nightmare of only a few days earlier? Well, either way, the strange mixed female shook her feelings off and walked forward, only to smile at all of the pretty flowers in front of her. "Mm, it smells good!" She giggled to herself, and leaned herself in to smell more flowers.

Theia's head dipped into the flower and she stuck her tongue out to catch some of the pollen that would make up her breakfast and was about to completely chow down when a voice caught her attention. Little head lifted and, because she'd rather not be caught off guard and smushed, she willed herself to become her normal size - the size of a miniature horse. "Who's there?" she asked, voice bright albeit a little sleepy. She wasn't fully awake yet, after all, and her stomach was rumbling for some nifty pollen.
Unfortunately for the female, pollen was only fulfilling when one was a tiny little thing. Sigh. Grass again for her!

Ghost turned her head quickly to see a dazzling flutter to the side of her. Such pretty shades of orange, Ghost was overjoyed! And long locks of blonde hair, it was enough to make her jealous. She almost looked like the female in her dream, imagine that! "Oh my!" She turned her body and smiled at her small size. Sadly, Ghost was a mixed breed, so she could never be a full flutter, and have the skill of shrinking sizes. But, she had had dreams before of bzzing around in flowers. That was good enough for her.
"I am sorry to disturb you, but hello." She gleamed, such a pretty female! This was a suprise, she didn't realize someone else was out so early in the morning. Ghost was usually by herself around this time.

Would have preferred to be either eating or sleeping - but the sun had other plans and had woken her up far before she felt she was ready to. Still, the grumpiness wasn't really a part of her nature so she simply smiled at the female, "Hello, no disturbance!"
Company was good. Company was better than nectar!...Well, when one's stomach wasn't all grumbly from not having food for the last...eight hours. Yeah, that sounded about right. She liked to sleep, apparently. My, those were pretty wings (even if they were black and black was supposed to be icky) which seemed to be brought out by the rest of the mare's colorful nature. "Who're you?"
Direct, wasn't she?

Well, thank goodness she didn't disturb her! Ghost always got nervous, and hoped that her presences was wanted around others. Luckily in this case, it appeared so. Ghost smiled at the flutter and decided it was pollite to stay and chat. "My name is Ghost, what is your name?" She fluttered her wings happily and obsereved the other female's wings.
"Your wings are so pretty.." She already knew how beautiful her full flutter mother was, but she was still always taken aback by other flutter's beauty. "Are you enjoying the flowers this fine morning?" She giggled and curled her tail around her leg shyly.

"Theia's the name," she introduced herself, lowering herself in a flowery bow. Her transparent wings fluttered as she raised from the bow and she smiled warmly, "Thank you."
Oh, the mare could never tire of compliments, "Yours are absolutely beautiful as well. And so are you!" She was full of them herself and loved to hand them out like the two leggers handed out apples. However, she tilted her head and eyed the mare for a moment, "It must be awfully taxing to stay at that height so long, unless you just changed! Did you?" Small was easy for Theia - bigger was a little harder and she hadn't quite gotten the hang of regulating her energy that well yet.

Ghost giggled and tried hard to remember the name. Theia, she was a sweet one alright. "Thank you, they are the color of my father so, I enjoy them." She wiggled her wings playfully, and looked back up at Theia. "This height? Well, its really the only height I can do."
Ghost then bent her head down to show her the horn. "I am a mixed breed, my father was an alicorn, and my mother was a flutter. So, I have a hard time being able to adjust my size." Although Ghost was a bit smaller then most females, she didn't have the full flutter traits. "It must be nice to be small, being around all of the flowers!" She giggled at Theia playfully.
