I think some of our threads sound kind of army like.
You know, one of those obsessive groups that get all military and fanatical.
Specifically (I hate to say it like this, but we're a small enough group to), I'd like to point out the outfit thread.
I like the outfits, but the descriptions, I think, make us seem quite shallow.
Of course, the other problem would be us becoming too popular for our own good.
I just threw that into the title to make it sound good though.
We can't really avoid that.

 We can't help how big we get.
As far as the thread, I feel it makes things alot more fun if we have a story.
If X returns we'll be the leading group on the plot and will automaticly become part of it.
I for one won't resist if X comes strolling our way.

You're reading MUCH too far into these things.
The outfit thread you mentioned is purely for fun.
You know that if Gaia did things like this, they'd have the same type of descriptions.
Also, if you'd noticed we don't make anything required.
If the guild is destined for greatness, so be it. If not, that's fine too.
This is entirely centered around X, and G CORP.
Theories, discussions, hell, even art.
Gaia's a large place, and all things pass in time. This will be no different, of course.
If you simply must call us on every small thing you happen to disagree with, you could simply leave, or stop this paranoid bullshit.

Wow, I can see where both sides are coming from - but I don't think anyone needs to "******** chill".
I'm not a great one for military style organisations - but I do appreciate order. Sometimes things get a bit too far ahead of themselves, and that (in my experience) is when divides happen.
I think we should all just enjoy whatever parts of the guild and activity we like, and not spend too much time getting hung up on the bits that don't interest us!
After all - we are Legion X; and it's the differences in its members that makes it interesting on the whole!

Besides - when all "ranks" and outfits are created (voluntary, once again), people can join whatever "rank" they wish. No one is being assigned anything - and no roles are assigned to the "ranks" because the "ranks" are mere names for the outfits.
Crimson himself stated in a private conversation that such guild outfit designs are purely voluntary and meant to be like fan-art.

I realise everything is voluntary.
I haven't taken part, which is fairly obvious.
=P
I just think this is spinning off from what I thought the Legion was originally meant for.
I have no intentions on leaving or splitting or anything, even if it goes way off on some crazy leg I don't like.
I do doubt that that will happen though.
I just thought it was important to have an opinion.
If you don't think my opinion is worth posting then I'll just follow along happily.
I'd like to point out the too big guild thing is totally not important to this.

Honessstttllly...I don't care about how this group communicates in its threads or how we all dress. What matters to me is that we're discussing theories involving/centered around Labtech X...Which is all why we're all here, right? whee heart
