hey but ninth is gonna blow away all the rules. we got two COPs that made it in. unlike the five that have shown up so far up til 8th. you got crazy stuff in those packs. but it's hidden among a bunch of crap. you'll get a bunch of good cards. but loads of crap. i think the ratio is something like 1:3 for good cards to bad ones

singles are better in my opinion, but there isint the suprise factor in opening a pack up.... and 8th edition was slightly lacking

8th has a few good cards but is nothing to compare with 9th.
You do have WoG, BoP, Royal Assassin, 2headed Dragon, Shivan Dragon, Worship, and some other stuff.
If you can get the same deal for 9th, take that instead.

Up to you, man. Granted, you're not guaranteed the groovy rares as when you buy a pack. Still, I was pleasantly surprised to pull a Wrath of God from a pack of 8th last summer ... ^^;;

I'd say wait two more years from now and get the same deal for 9th Ed. Although 8th was a pretty big improvement from the past core sets, 9th is so much better...... =D
